"Mrs. Vasp, please go to room 105 for checkup", the voice over the speaker crackled.
"Come on hon, it's our turn.", the man told the pregnant woman sitting beside him.
The woman slowly got up from her chair, clutching her belly. The hospital reeked of medicine, sickness and death. She shuddered at the young victims and old people gnarled with age. It made her think being beautiful and youthful was a complete waste of time if you just ended up at the hospital eventually.
Together they arrived at room 105. The doctor cheerfully informed that the baby was healthy and growing, due in about two weeks. The couple grinned from ear to ear as they exited the hospital.
"I can just imagine our future, dear. We are going to be one big happy family!", the woman declared.
"Of course sweetheart.", said the man.
