Do you ever feel like you're not complete without that special someone in your life? The arms you crave to be held in, holding them tight, relishing the comfortable silence you share together. You feel no pressure to talk, no words need to be uttered between you, just their presence is enough to fill your heart with content.
But being apart drains you, emptiness consumes you because without their soothing touch, caressing your cheek as you lay together, you feel alone in the world. It worsens when the time you have to spend with each other is limited at best. You want to spend every waking moment together, but schedules and deadlines have to be met, and your relationship is compromised along the way-
"Jess?" My gorgeous girlfriend mumbles beside me, her naturally wavy blonde hair still as perfect as it was last night.
"Morning sleeping beauty." I smile, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "How'd you sleep?"
She shrugs and stretches, as she does I catch a sliver glimpse of perfect creamy skin as her t-shirt rides up, "Stop oogling Jessie, it's too early." She scolds playfully, rolling over onto her side to face me.
"It's 11am!" I protest, nuzzling our noses in an Eskimo kiss.
"Exactly, you know I'm not human till after three and I've had at least a litre of Sunny D!" She chuckles, pecking my lips as I nod in agreement.
"I thought maybe we could do something today?" I murmur, draping my arm over her waist, ghosting my fingertips over the small of her back. She looks up at me thoughtfully, her eyebrows knitting together, "What time do you have to be back for rehearsals?" She sighs, disappointment etching it's way into her features.
"I don't, I'm spending the whole day with my beautiful girlfriend," I smile, "well that's if she's human before three today." I wink, tapping her nose lightly with my free hand, to which she then tries to nip my finger.
"Hmm, a whole day with you... Nothing worse." She giggles, biting down on her lip.
"Oh so that's how it's gonna be, huh?" I growl playfully, rolling her over onto her back and straddling her, "maybe I can change your mind?"
Her long lashes flutter as she looks up at me, a mischievous smirk playing on her plump lips, "We'll see..."
