{Elsa's pov}

"Anna! Where'd you put the ginger bread cookies?!" I yelled across our small house.

"What ginger bread cookies?!" She yelled back.

"The ones I told you to buy yesterday for Christmas!" I know she didn't get them...

"I didn't get them!" Knew it. "Sorry!" She apologized.

"I'm going to the store!" I informed her.

It's Christmas and I'm going to the store. Great. Our local grocery store is open today because the owner is Jewish and he is a crazy work person.

I start to walk to the store. It's less than five minutes away and I don't feel like scraping the frost off my car right now.

It's freezing outside. But the cold never bothered me, anyway.

I finally get to the store and I read the sign that says "Grocery Store and Sauna". It looks like I'm the only one there. It's really quiet, too.

"Hello. Welcome to my store. All Thanksgiving items are half off and we will throw in a happy turkey shopping bag!" The owner said in an accent that I can't really identify.

"Where do you keep the cookies?" I ask.

"Over in the corner." He says and points with a big fake smile.

"Thanks."

I walk over to the cookie section. And read all the boxes looking for ginger bread.

I hear the bell that rings when someone opens the door. A tall white haired boy walked in. He was young and extremely good looking. He talked to the owner and started walking my way. I looked back at the cookies. He stood next to me and I could feel his cold breath exhale because he was so close.

We both scan the cookie isle and mumble "ginger bread..." in union. We both looked at each other amused by the coincidence.
"I'm Jack." He said holding out his hand for me to shake it.
"I'm Elsa." I take his hand. I can feel his cold hand through my white glove.

I finally found the ginger bread cookies. There was one box left. I think he did too because when I reached for it he did the same.

We both grabbed the box and looked over at each other. I expected him to let go but he did nothing.

"Let it go." I say. He didn't listen. "Let it go." I repeat. He still held it.

"These are my sisters favorite." He said still holding on.

"I have a sister, too. "

"My family is expecting these." He said annoyed.

"My family won't come over if we don't have these." I pull the box toward myself. He pulled it back.

"I've been wanting these all morning."

"I've been craving these. I'm on my period!" I yell a little to loud.

"You can have them." He said and let go of the box.

"That's what I thought."

I start to walk over to the cash register and he follows me.

"Why are you following me?" I ask annoyed.

"Oh I still want a cookie." He said as we stopped at the register.

"Whatever." I said and gave the owner the box.

"That would be $6.42" he said.
"$6.42?! For a box of cookies?!" That's way over priced, but whatever. "Ugh, I only have five dollars."

"Well for five dollars I can give you our store famous minnows in a jar." He said scooting the jar of dead, tiny fish toward me.

"No thank you." I said in disgust.

"I'll pay for the rest." Jack offered.

"No you don't have to. " I huff.

"No it's fine. I would love to help out a pretty girl in need." Did he just call me pretty? He's so sweet.

"Thanks." I say and look him in the eyes.

He gave the owner the money and didn't break our eye contact. I could feel my face turning into a fiery shade of pink.

He grabbed the change and we walked out of the store. He must have realized that I walked here because he offered to drive me home. Of course I didn't want to walk in the snow so I accepted.

He had a small black, expensive looking car with tan leather seats.

He got in the driver seat and I got in the passenger seat.

"I'll take my cookie now." Jack said starting the car.

I open the box and pull the smallest cookie out without him noticing. When brake it in half and try to hand him the cookie, instead of holding his hand out, he opens his mouth. I huff.

Knowing that I can't reach over to him from my seat, I unbuckle my seat belt and sit on the middle compartment. He's still holding his mouth open.

I move my hair out of my face and put half of the cookie in his mouth. I rest my hand on his shoulder as he chewed the cookie.

"Delicious." He said satisfied.

"You like the cookie?" I ask giggling.

"Nope. You." He said smoothly.

"Your such a dork." I laugh out.

I attempt to move back to the passenger seat but Jack took ahold of my waist.

"Jack-"

"Would you let me kiss you right now?" He said seriously.

I don't know how to answer that. So I lean in closer and he closes his eyes also leaning closer. And right when I was breathing against his face...

I shoved the other half of the cookie in his mouth. He look at me with a "seriously?" face. And I smile at him.

I tell him my address and he drives up to my house. He runs along the front of the car and opens my car door.

"I hope I get to see you again." I say as I get on my tippy toes to kiss him right on the lips.

When we break apart I slip my phone number in his front pocket and walk into my house. Before I shut the door I ask "And Jack?"

"Yeah?" He asked still in shock.

"Merry Christmas..."
