Everything went silent... a little too silent...
I open my eyes and see them glaring at me but not moving. I wave my hand in front of their faces, and only their eyes move. It dawned on me right then that I froze them without even trying to. Then I have a flashback to my Self-Discovery 101 class when I first started learning my powers. I start to realize that during both that class and this incident, I had been in distress when I called upon my powers. Oh my God, I thought, I can use magic! However, I need to learn to control it if I have any chance of surviving at this school.
Then I slowly unfreeze them, and I sprout claws and fangs. They stare at me in shock.
Cassidy: Oh my God, you're an all-user.
Me: What the hell is an all-user?
Mikala: It's-
I hiss sharply at Mikala, and she gets the clue to shut up.
Me: Cassidy, what is an all-user?
Cassidy: It's someone that can do any and every type of magic. It's very rare. I never even imagined that I would meet one in my lifetime.
Me: And is being an all-user good or bad?
Cassidy: I don't know. I've heard infamous legends about all-users that almost destroyed the world because they couldn't control the power.
Me: And is there any way to completely control the power?
Cassidy: I'm sure there is, but I haven't found anything about it yet.
Mikala goes to say something, but I shut her up with a hiss again.
Me: Mikala, you need to get out of my dorm right now.
She stands there in defiance, and I speak again in a deadly whisper.
Me: Mikala, get out now. If you know what's good for you, you will get out right now.
She goes pale, but still stands there defiantly. I make a ball of electricity and will it to get bigger. I started moving towards her, and she starts backing up out of fear. I back her out of my room, and the door shuts. However, a new problem arises right afterward; I can't control the ball of electricity now. I start panicking, which only makes it worse.
Cassidy: Jake! Please... control yourself!!
Shegrabs my arms and squeezes them tightly. Good news: the ball of electricitydissipates. Bad news: my skin goes clammy, and I faint.
