I wake up in what I guess is the infirmary. I don't see anyone, so I get up. As I do though, Cassidy suddenly appears by my side. She helps me up and lets me lean on her as I walk.
Me: You work here?
Cassidy: Yes.
Me: And you healed me?
Cassidy: Yes.
Me: And where's Mikala?
Cassidy: She's at her dorm, licking her wounds, both to her body and to her pride.
Me: And are you alright?
Cassidy: Yes, I'm alright.
With that, she looked away from me. I lift her chin up with my finger so that her eyes meet mine. Then I kiss her. I don't know what surprised me more: that I kissed her, or that she kissed me back. But yeah, she started kissing me back. I couldn't believe this was actually happening. Anyway, she helped me get back to our dorm, and laid down with me on the bed. We kissed each other to sleep.
