Jaz woke up to see one of the men she had seen in the house being led to a police car. She looked around confused as she didn't see the man who had taken her. Morgan noticed her confusion right away.
"What, is something wrong?" He asked worried that they had gotten the wrong guy.
"You only have one of them in custody..." Morgan's eyes flew up and he rolled down the window.
"Hotch!" Said agent turned around and saw the panic on his face. He went over to them and gave a concerned and questioning look.
"What's wrong? Do we have the wrong man?"
"No, we have ONE of them." Morgan put some stress on the number so Hotch wouldn't miss it.
"One of? There were more than one?" That question was directed at Jaz, who nodded shyly. She was afraid she was in trouble for not pointing it out earlier. She didn't remember him because she only saw the side of him and only once for a brief second. If she wasn't taught by her brother to always be aware of her surroundings at all times, she would have missed him.
"You aren't in trouble, Jaz. Just tell us who this one is." Morgan told her calmly.
"I only saw him once. If it wasn't for your little awareness training sessions, I would have missed him." She said.
"Where's the other one, then?"
BOOM!
Jaz covered her ears, Hotch ducked around the side of the car for shelter, and Morgan rolled the window up while shielding his sister from the debris that came flying towards them from the bomb blast from the house. After what seemed like forever, Morgan and everyone else seemed to have come out from where they were hiding and look at the damage.
The main part of the house was on fire and the debris was scattered around, also on fire. Everything around them seemed destroyed. The most part of the room seemed to be crushing two police cars with officers trapped underneath.
There was the distinct sound of fire trucks and ambulances in the distance and coming closer. There was a backup of cars on the Interstate behind them, and the officers that weren't injured by the blast went to start guiding traffic. Hotch circled back around the car to the window. Morgan rolled it down so he could hear his boss.
"Is everyone alright?" He asked. Morgan, Reid, and Daniel nodded, but Jaz was still.
"Baby girl? Jaz?" Morgan shook her gently. "Jasmine?" She finally groaned and awoke, causing Morgan to sigh in relief. "Hey, baby, are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." She said. She sounded hoarse, but not concerningly so. The agents were gonna get her checked out in the ambulance, along with Daniel despite the fact that he didn't have injuries, so they figured that all would be well.
"Alright, Reid, I want you to... wait, Reid, did you hit your head?" Hotch asked. Reid nodded slowly. "It's bleeding. Stay in the car and don't move, and don't go to sleep." Reid nodded again and Hotch waved over one of the paramedics and told them to check over the people in the car.
