Chapter 1

"Come on Honey we'll miss the ship if you don't hurry up", my mom called to me, it was the year 2289, and my mom and I were getting ready to visit the planet Junkop.  "I'm coming I called to her as I quickly got dressed into black jeans and a shirt that had the Jurassic World symbol on it.  "Okay ready", I called down to my mom as I quickly ran down the stairs to meet her.  "Alright I think we have everything, are you ready to go", she asked me.  "Yep", I said.  "Okay, then go ahead and get into the car", she told me as I grabbed my backpack and jacket.   Then finally after we were done driving  through the big city called Central of Earth.  "Okay I think were here", my mom called to me as she slowed down our hover car and parked it into a parking space.  "Wow", I exclaimed as I looked up  to see the wonderful space craft ready for us to board.   "Please keep moving", an female voice said over a  loud speaker that sounded an awful lot like Siri which was so old school.  "Alright we have to keep moving", my mom said to me as we checked in our tickets and stepped on to the marvelous ship and went to find our room.  When we found our room I opened the light brown and stepped into a modern lounge with two couches and one big TV, then we walked into one of the bedrooms complete with a TV a big comfy bed a desk and a big window.  "Can I have this room Mom", I questioned amazed at the sight.  "Of Course",  my mom said as she put my suit case as she left the room to see the other parts of the luxurious room.  I hopped on the bed and grabbed my fob watch and checked the time 2:00.  "The ship will be leaving  at 2:15, please all passengers make sure to have checked in, thank you", said a voice.   "Hmm", I said as I grabbed the TV remote and switched on the TV.  "Welcome aboard the ship Crimson, this ship will be traveling out of our solar system, which will take two days, then we will make our way past our neighboring solar system which will take a week, and then we will travel past the AVP Universe which will take a week then of course we will finally reach our destination, and thank you for boarding the Crimson we hope you have a wonderful time", a voice said coming out of the TV, then I quickly started to switch channels.  Sports, nah, Sponge Bob Square Pants, absolutely not, maybe I'll try a random channel: 426, then a Sci Fi show about planets came on.  Well maybe this could come in handy, I thought to myself.  An hour later...  "Newt, it's dinner", my Mom called to me.  "Coming", I said to her, for dinner we had mac in cheese (not homemade, the boxed one, and yes we still have those).   Well it wasn't as bad as I thought for a first meal, I guess, the staff never cook a meal for you on the first night.
