The Day Kashew Came Together

Chapter Two

     Now out of the shower, Matt began searching for the perfect outfit. He chose his I Would Top You So Hard tee, black shorts, and his black and white slip -ons. He began to fix his hair. "OMG" he thought to himself as his hair would not go the way he wanted. He began to panic a bit. Just then his phone began to ring. It was Bradlee. "Hi bae," Bradlee said as always. "Are you ready to go," he asked him. "No, I can't get my hair to go right. I did just have a great time in the shower though when I started to think of Kasper and I together." Bradlee laughed so hard! "Maaaaatt," he said in his whiny voice. "You are so dirty." Just then Matt looked at the time and yelled, "Bradlee! Get over here now! It is almost time to leave!" Bradlee agreed and hopped in his car to head to Matthews house. He was going with Matt to vlog for him as he and Kasper met for the first time. Bradlee felt kind of down a bit inside, as he had let his chance to be with Matt slip away. However, Matt was still his best friend and he would do anything for his happiness.

    

     Matt finally got his hair together and shortly after, Bradlee arrived. It was time to go meet Kasper. He was feeling really good. Bradlee noticed the smile on his face and he was so glad to see Matt happy like this again. Once they arrived at the airport, they searched the itinerary to check how long before Kasper's flight would land. "Omg! Only fifteen minutes before Kasper would be walking through the gate and hopefully straight into my arms," Matt thought to himself. Time seemed to speed by. It was time for the flight to arrive. Just then they heard a loud dong sound. The flight board began to flash on Kaspers flight. Then they saw an announcement that appeared on the board saying flight 2147 from New Zealand would be delayed due to turbulence. Matt began to panic as feelings of worry began to enter his mind. His heart felt heavy. He knew that a delay due to turbulence was never a good thing. Bradlee tried to console him as he began to sniffle. "Don't worry Matt. I am sure he will be ok."

      After twenty minutes that seemed like an eternity, they announced the flight had arrived. Matt hurried to the gate and Bradlee began to record. After only a few moments, Kasper came through the gate. A big smile came over his face when he saw Matthew. He grabbed him and hugged him so tightly. Matthew did the same in return. It was the most wonderful feeling. Matt pulled himself back and began to brush the side of Kasper's face, back through his hair. "I was so afraid when they announced the turbulence. I thought the worse and I felt so bad that it was because of me you were on that flight. I could have never forgiven myself if anything had happened to you," Matthew said in a low voice. Kasper grabbed Matthew's hand and brushed his cheek against his palm. "It is because of us and possibly starting a new life together. I wanted this as badly from the start as you do now." Then Kasper did something that Matthew never expected. He leaned in and kissed him. It was so soft and full of passion. That was reassurance enough for Matt that everything was as it should be. He knew from that moment nothing mattered. All he wanted was to be with Kasper and hopefully this feeling would never end.
