The scream definitely received some attention and a nurse hurried into the room. "Are you okay Midori? Do you need a doctor?" She hurried over to the girl who was standing there looking rather pale and tense.

Able snorted even as he lowered his legs to the ground and moved over to a chair and settled down. "She can't see me to the best of my knowledge. You might not want to tell her there is a ghost in your room." Most medical staff tended to be rather twitchy when patients start asking about dead people.

Midori couldn't help but keep staring at the person as he moved to a chair and settled down. Her eyes started to widen even more as he spoke and moved again. When the nurse finally touched her shoulder Midori twitched again and managed to speak. "Um, sorry I just thought I saw someone in my room. I guess I am more out of it than I thought. I think I am going to lay down and see if I can take a nap." Yah, a nap, that might make things better. Maybe she would wake up and all this might be a dream.

The nurse had to smile. "It happens sometimes and I am sure if you lay down and relax you will feel more like yourself." She helped her back into the bed and tucked her in before checking the water and then leaving.

She let the nurse lead her back to the bed and crawled in and closed her eyes. Once the nurse had left Midori had to groan. For the moment she wasn't going to even open her eyes. She was going to really hope that when she opened her eyes back up the ghost was gone. Midori even had to twitch at even thinking the word ghost. "This so can't be happening to me."

Able simply settled back in the chair and waited. He couldn't go anywhere to far from her or there might issues. This was so not going the way he had intended it to. He heaved a ghostly sigh as he faded from view to conserve energy. If needed, he could tap into the hospital's systems but that could cause problems which he didn't need. Then again the hospital didn't either. For now, he would simply create a link to... "What the hell?" He tried to create a connection to the chair he was in but couldn't.

"What the hell is going on? I have never had a problem since I learned to do this before." He had been a ghost for some time and he had learned most of the ropes related to being one. Abel frowned as he expanded his essence to sense the flow around the room. His eyes jerked to a connection he already had. He followed the trace of his silver string and could only stare. His silver string was what kept him in this world as a ghost. It tied him to his darkest secret and only by repenting and doing something as good as the bad could he be freed.

What was making him stare was his silver string wandered across the floor and into Midori's body. It entered in the center of her chest over her heart. This most definitely wasn't something he had ever encountered before. "Just because I saved that damn kid? You have got to be shitting me!" When the girl had been walking and he saw the kid run into the street Abel had just reacted. He had possessed her body long enough to knock the boy out of the way and nothing else. "Oh god! Where is the chocolate when you need it?" He muttered. "Why the hell do I want chocolate? I'm a damn ghost!"

He stayed there in his faded form as he glared at the girl. It had to be something to do with her or why else would his silver string be connected to her? Abel settled down to glowering at the girl for the moment. It did look like she had fallen asleep for the moment. With a grunt he started floating again and closed his eyes and settled for grumbling to himself.

Takeko walked into the room and frowned since she could sense a hidden presence. Her eyes traveled around the room before settling on a space above one chair. There was a brief flare of power in the room and the woman had changed. Instead of her conservative American business dress she had on an intricate kimono with a black base and red and green flames and symbols on it. In one hand was a Kusari Gama.
