After having a conversation with her mother, Anna went to her room looking for a New Testament she had won at school once. She found it. She flipped the pages quickly and at last found the book of John. She held it firm, took a deep breath and then, began to read it.

In verse twenty-three of first chapter she stopped and read again. It said:

23He said, 'I am the voice of one crying out in the wilderness,

"Make straight the way of the Lord"', as the prophet Isaiah said.

She read the first five chapters and felt tired, but relieved at the same time as if she had found shelter. She closed the New Teastament book and slept.

Anna fell asleep quickly and soon after had a dream. In this dream, she was walking along a greenish grassland with a few trees, despite that, the place was beautiful. She continued walking and soon spotted Saw through the pasturage a man sat on a dark wood bench. He was backwards and Anna could not see his face. He came and sat down beside her.

As soon as she sat down he said:

- I am glad you came. I was waiting for you.

Anna did not understand the man's words, but asked:

- Do you know me?

- Yes and you know me. Said the mysterious man.

Anna looked at him but could not see his face. She shifted on the bed, restless by his anxiety in the dream.

- Are you right my dear? He asked again.

- Not much. I am sad because of my parents. They fight every day. Anna said.

Even without knowing him, she felt at confortable in talking to him. He just listened carefully. Therefore, completely vented about her current family situation. Soon, the sun rose and her mother was in her room trying to wake her up school. Anna woke up tired because she had not slept. Still he got up, took a shower, took breakfast and went to school.

Arriving at the school the first person she saw was Arthur, her teacher. As soon as he saw her he came to where she was and asked her how was she. She told him that well and entered the classroom.

The day passed quickly and at night, once again, Anna was in her room with the book of John opened and started to read it carefully and fell asleep.

Once she fell asleep, she had the same dream again, and returned to the same place she was at night before. Getting there she met once that man who had talked to her. She still could not see his face. But she felt glad because he was there. Then, he asked:

- So my dear, any News?

Anna smiled and told him about her day. And that dream was repeated for five nights in a row.
