▲SYNOPSIS
❝ Mental illnesses are very often misunderstood. While there are scenarios in which even medication for physical illnesses fail to do their job, the treatments for mental illnesses are almost always expected to work. They're labeled off as a bad day, and patients are told not to worry over the feeling too much, because everyone has those days. These words are what Jake has been told, and more than once at that, though he's quite unsure that that may be the case. ❞
▲AUTHOR'S NOTE
❝ This is a story that has been with me for a while, and it's something close to my heart. I know that the theme might be a bit dark, and I apologize if it makes some uncomfortable, but depression, amongst many other mental illnesses, are very real for many people and I believe speaking about it can help spread information and wipe away any ignorance towards the topic. ❞
