Chapter 3: Fire

Walking down the hallway, pushing his arms through his jacket but left the zipper hanging, Bradley shook his head running his fingers through his crew cut hair. He quicken up his paces until he reached the destination: the main Wizard set.

Everybody were there standing around chatting to one another. The show producer, Todd J Greenwald, was talking to Peter Murrieta keep gesturing at today’s script written by David Deluise.

Spotting Selena standing next to Jennifer Stone and Jake T Austin; Bradley rushes over them and stood next to Selena. He surprised her with a quick kiss on her cheek.

She smiled. “Aww.” Feeling her reddening cheek and gazed up at him. She nudged him before she went in for a sisterly embrace.

Jennifer smiled. It was a normal thing to see them both being all close and sweet. This simple little gesture goes a long way.

Meanwhile, at the next-door studio lot, another gesture was happening. And it was not like what Bradley did to Selena. All was seen was red.

Smoking.

At the main set, running through her lines as she looked down at her script for today’s tapping; Demi gradually took sips of water. Sitting down then standing back up again. She even paces back and forth then stops then paces again.

Tiffany did the opposite. She was sitting down talking to her boyfriend on her cell phone. She was completely calm. Demi was not.

Brian Robbins, the producer, was talking to the director discussing about the scripts. He gestured his arms around, point here and there at the current set which was Tiffany’s character and Demi’s character, Tawni and Sonny’s dressing room.

New props were brought in from the props department which includes a sack filled with envelopes and pound of stuff animals stuffing.

Sonny’s casts, Doug Brochu and Brandon Smith were rushing in from the entrance door. Both were pacing. The instance they were in the main set area, both had their head turns 180 degrees. Their eyes were roaming the set and finally halted at where Demi and Tiffany were.

Quickly, they ran over to them. “Demi!”

“Hey guys,” Demi greeted them. “Glad you two are here, let’s rehearse.”

“Trace is here.” Brandon spoke up, panting for air. He looked very concerned and scared and his chest was heaving up and down at a fast rate. Same thing happened with Doug except he was leaning his palms against his knee getting some air inside him.

“What do you mean Trace is here?” Tiffany asked, quickly excusing her boyfriend on her cell and stood next to Demi, who was clutching her script too tightly, fear rushing in her.

“He’s here, like, He’s really here.” Brandon tried to explain. He drew out and added, “He’s in your dressing room right now.”

Her eyes went wide.

Trace would never come to the studio especially when Demi was at work. To be honest, he disliked being in a studio. According to him, the vibes were not good for his musical creativity. So he rather stays at the parking lot and not at the dressing room waiting.

In split seconds, Demi thrust her script to Doug and sprint off to the hallway. Look of concerned on her face went serious. Her co-stars instantly followed her.

‘Oh my god, why is he here?’ Demi thought as she ran along the hallway. ‘Oh God please, please, please, please don’t make it what I think he’s going to do.’
