Picture this, in our vast universe, we know of only our surrounding planets and stars, but yet we ask ourselves if there are others among us. This among many other questions is a hard one to explain but an easy one to answer and that answer is yes. Far beyond the farthest star, a completely different world exists, that world which creatures unlike anything we have ever dreamed of inhabbits. This is their world, the world of Argaesa. Argaesa was originally inhabbited by several varieties of races which had been on the planet for generations. They prospered until it had been discovered by the known race; The Creators.
The Creators are a race of beings known to travel from planet to planet and populate them with their own empires and "creations". They are widely known for their caliber of knowledge and technology, able to construct living beings with awe insipring computers. Creators have two forms, a human form and a True form. They sport a wide range of hair or fur color and markings. Their eyes are luminous and their aura exceptionally powerful. Their true forms lithel, the males more strongly built, their ears are long and tails usually (not always) whip-like. Creators are ruled by the Emperor Agraesis, he himself is the Creator of all Creators. Creators have the ability to control, absorb, and repel energies. They are also able to travel as mist/smoke (Females) or smog (Males). They can live to be centuries old.
These old-world nomadic Creators renamed the once title-less planet after their Emperor, Argaesis. They began building on the land, taking slaves and killing off anyone who opposed them. Rebellions began sprouting, and the advancing Creators needed support; guards to hold back and restrain the other races. They constructed massive computers and bases in an underground cave. This would be the starting point of a whole new era... They planned to create Guardians in their image. Living, breathing, weapons with an unconditional loyalty. The project's name was "Operation 'Guard Dogs'". The experiment itself lasted years before they were ready to produce the first batch of these Guard Dogs, but something went terribly wrong. Someone or something had managed to tap into the Creator's computers, infecting them with viruses and setting off blaring alarms. All of Argaesa was alerted; no one knew what was to come.
All too suddenly, their handiwork had been born. An army of the Guard Dogs knelt before the Creators. Was this success? Well, one could say that. These 'Guard Dogs' now ran by a new title, they were called 'Viruses'. They excelled in slaughter and were feared by all of Argaesa after word of their production spread.
With the help of the Viruses, and their Abyssal forms, the Creators were able to reign supremely over Argaesa. However, the Viruses bred, producing new guards. From there, things began changing, rapidly. The Creators called these new viruses, Newborns, while the originals were called Firstborns. Newborns were set apart from Firstborns in several ways. One way was that males were without Abyssal forms, and that they lacked eyes in their True forms. The Newborns also held no loyalty to the Creators. They felt that they were foolish tyrants.
Viruses are a race made by the Creators. They were mistakes in a complex experiment to create sentinels. The original Viruses are called Firstborns. They have three forms: Human, True, and Abyssal. Their Abyssal forms are eyeless and named after Abyssians, in which favor their kind. Later bred Viruses are called Newborns. Ther are the reason words of rebellion exists within their society. Viruses have the ability to control, absorb, and repel energies. They are made from the Creators' images, so much of their appearances are the same. Newborn males however, are without Abyssal forms. Their True forms are eyeless as a result- making up for this loss. Firstborns can also walk up walls, while Newborns cannot. Should a Virus absorb another Viruses energy, it would cause instantaneous death. Viruses can live years so long as they have steady supplies of energy.
A race in which even the Viruses honor. They rarely visit Argeasa and their origin is unknown. They are said to have created the planets. The Viruses 'Abyssal' forms are named after them. They are without eyes and have strength that surpesses most beings. They travel from planet to planet, giving or draining energies. They favor Viruses and despise Argeasis. Their presence gives Viruses strength. Abyssians have only one form. They can appear in numerous shapes and sizes, never having eyes. Like Viruses, they can see aura, allowing them to travel with ease. They have awe inspiring energy use, can levitate, and become mist.
As of now, word of rebellion is spreading like wildfire in the Virus community. It is becoming ever difficult for the Creators to contain them...
The Yin and Yang of Argaesa, Argaesis and Eurgosa.
The Emperor to all races of Argeasa. Argeasis (Ar-guy-sis) is the being who is said to have given life to the Creators. The world is named after him. He is the reason the Creators are able to build living, breathing, beings. He is immortal, and even considered a god to some. Without his energy, the Creators and everything that have ever produced would be stripped of life. The Creators and even the Viruses are aware of this and so treat him with respect if ever in his sacred presence. Although he is a benign spirit, he has the ability to abandon his creations. It is also known that he has given an extra portion of his energy into helping build the Creator's city. This energy source is kept under heavy surveillance in the capital; without it, the entire city would forever be without power. If even the slightest of disturbances disrupts the energy source, it would explode.
Empress to all raced of Argeasa. Eurgosa (Eur-go-za) is a less-known being on Argeasa. She's favored among the races who choose not to follow Argeasis's rule. Like Argeasis, she's sometimes seen as a god because she is immortal. She is said to lie dormant deep underground or in the vast seas, but also roaming the worlds. She is the original creator of Argeasa; but since the Creators overran the world, she is seen as only second. Eurgosa can take away and give life to the enviroment. Despite her calming aura, she can be formidable being if ever angered.
Argaesa, the place where you not only have the Viruses, Creators, and immortals but Faries, Merfolk, Glues, Sand Walkers, Skull Dogs, Illusionists, Aura Fiends, Predators, Voids, and Outlanders; more on that later. Out of all of this, societies were formed to draw out lines between alliances and well, you get the idea.
This is where I come from. This is my story. This is me. I am Mell, and I am a First Born Virus.
