The house was really big. Hold on, not house, mansion. Kind of like ours, but way, way bigger. Aunt Mary explained to me that our new neighbors were the Hodsons. They had a little girl, and a boy about my age. As we got out of our car, a man in a black suite escorted us into the parlor where the family was sitting. Mr. Hodson was a stout man with a brown beard, and curly hair. His daughter was a tiny little thing, with auburn curls, and freckles scattered about her face, she had on a yellow jumper on with black leggings. Then there was his son. He had short curly brown hair like Mr. Hodson, and had a green, red, and black flannel shirt.

"Mr. Hodson sir, your guest have arrived."

"Oh splendid! How are you my dear?" he asked shaking my aunt's hand.

"Hello, I'm Mary Pettygrove, and this is my niece Gwendolyn," she said slightly gesturing at me with her head.

"But you can call me Gwen, if you'd like, sir."

"Ah, hello there young miss," Mr. Hodson said shaking my hand. "This is my son Harry, and my daughter Elouise. Kids, why don't you show miss Gwen around the new house?" I looked over at Harry and Elouise. Harry didn't really seem to mind, but Elouise looked absolutely beside herself in excitement. Quickly grabbing me and her brother's hands, she lead us out of the room. She showed me the dinning room, and kitchens. We went into a lot of the hall ways, and various rooms, and frankly I found it fun!

A while later we went back into the parlor, with Mr. Hodson, and Aunt Mary.

"Thank you for showing me around, it was really fun!" I said to Harry, before my aunt and I left.

"Oh..er..it was on big deal," he said blushing. I smiled, and Aunt Mary and I took our leave.
