Hey, guys, this is the second of my Christmas one-shot series, so if you wanna read the first, go and take a look at my other book Jasiper Moments. I know the picture above isn't Christmassy, but it's the best I couldn't find anything that would suit this-Piper Chase
"I don't want a lot for Christmas!" Percy belted at the top of his lungs. It was only the 2nd of December, but there was no denying he was already in the Christmas spirit.
Annabeth watched him from where she sat on the couch, trying not to giggle at his tuneless singing.
"There is just one thing I need!" He stretched an arm towards Annabeth dramatically,"I don't care about the presents underneath the Christmas treee."
Annabeth scoffed,"yeah, right," she muttered. A hint of a scowl crossed Percy's face before his annoying smirk settled back into place.
Still singing, he reached for the book in Annabeth's lap and closed it, grabbing her shoulders and pulling her up from the sofa.
"No, no, no, Percy! Don't you dare. Percy, I'm warning you!"
Her boyfriend leaned in and gave her a small peck on the lips. "I just want you for my own," he sang wrapping his arms around her waist, starting to sway side to side. "More than you could ever know," Annabeth smiled up at him, unable to stay annoyed with him for long, and swayed with him, resting her arms around his neck.
"Make my wish come truuuuuuuue."
Annabeth giggled as her boyfriend tried to hold the long, high note.
"Baby, all I want for Chrismas is you."
She started to lean in for another kiss, when Percy quickly skipped the CD to the next track and Fairytale of New York started to play.
Percy's eyes widened and his mischievous smirk grew into a massive grin and Annabeth groaned into his chest. "Not this agaaain!"
Percy didn't seem to here her as he put on his best slurred, drunken voice and yelled the lyrics out as loud as he possibly could.
"It was Christmas Eve babe in the drunk tank an old man said to me..." He slowly turned away from her, as his mind drifted off to a faraway place. "Won't see another one and then he sang a song the Rare Old Mountain Dew I turned my face away ..." He spun a full pirouette and staggered into the wall. "Percy!" Annabeth yelled and rushed toward him, but he just grabbed her and pulled her into the centre of the room to dance once more. "Got a lucky one came in eighteen to one I've got a feeling this year's for me and you," he stopped dancing and stared at her and a warm feeling spread across her chest. He bent down and kissed her lightly on the nose and her cheeks glowed softly pink. "So happy Christmas. I love you, baby. I can see a better time when all our dreams come true."
As stupid as he was, Annabeth couldn't help but let out a small sigh as he locked eyes with hers. Percy Jackson sure had his ways.
