- Right, this is my first real story, my other 'Vampire' I wrote in school in a whole block. This, I will be adding to along the way. I am by no means a 'Good' writer. But I'm improving with every story I write. Writing is JUST a hobby. Excuse any spelling mistakes!! So, thanks for reading. Vote it! -

Chapter 1 -

Sun. The sun was the first thing I noticed as I stepped off the plane, onto the fresh turf of Beverly Hills. For the second time in my life, I'd left my friends. I'd stepped out of the tight nit they call a comfort zone and ventured into unknown grounds. The second time in my life. Let me explain my life story in in the simplest way possible...

I was born in Bristol, England. Christened to the name of Savannah Fenty. My darling mother gave birth to one angel of a daughter before me, named Alexis. After my birth, my parents were so pleased at how I turned out (Haha, or not), my mother became pregnant again, with my twin brothers, Tom and Liam. Let me just say, everybody who has ever met those boys, except from my mother, wishes my parents had left the baby game at me.

What else can I tell you? Oh yes, at the age of 6, we moved to Beverly Hills after my mother was offered a job as manager of one of the Prada stores. She was over the moon, I remember her practically dancing around the house for days, until the excitement wore off and it became another one of the jobs from hell. Later that year, my dad got a call from home back in Bristol. His mum, My grandma had suffered a major heart attack at the dear age of 72, her condition was critical and my dad felt we should go back there, on a holiday perhaps? However, it turned out to be longer than a holiday. My grandma was a born soldier, and she just kept fighting, right 'til the end. This meant my mum lost her job back in Beverly Hills due to her lack of 'commitment' towards the store. As a family, it was like being kicked while we were already down.

My grandma passed on 5 weeks after, my grandpa was devastated and my parents, the genius's that they are, thought that if we left now, he would probably turn and face the wall, give up on life now that his soul-mate had left him. Making ourselves permanent residents at that house, we put our villa/home back in The Hills up for rent.

I made some amazing friends in that time, my most loyal and faithful being Leah Atkinson, blonde, blue-eyed and severely shy. I was convinced - me and her would be friends 'til we were old ladies, rocking in our chairs, running pedestrians over in our electric trolleys! Yeah, that totally happened. Considering we were teenagers by 2 years and parted already. Good prediction Savannah...

I was the kind of girl that always got in trouble, despite the fact that most the time, I had done nothing wrong. Teacher's did not like me. The feeling was mutual. In Bristol, I went to the roughest school in the whole of the city! It was common for 75% of the school to gather behind the main block at any break and smoke cigarettes to their hearts content. I, much to my parents 'disappointment', happened to be part of that vast group. I was a good kid...at heart. I was just always in the wrong place at the wrong time and I definitely hung around with the wrong sort of people. The popular part of the school (the other 25%) took me in when I made friends with Leah in my second year at Mangotsfield Secondary School.

However, this did not get me out of trouble, it just got me more backing when I did... The popular group were known by many as 'The Plastics' due to their 'Barbie & Ken' characteristics... The girls were 10x too beautiful and the boys... they made your heart skip a beat if you caught their eye. I went through many boys in that time, I was irresistable! My long, layered chocolate brown hair complimented the unusual colour of my bright blue eyes. I needn't wear much make-up, I had long and thick black lashes, top and bottom. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but the slightest touch of eyeliner was all I needed to finish off my signature look - Natural and damned sexy, as I like to think of it...

Thinking about it, I don't recall ever being rejected by the opposite sex. I even reminded myself of Alexis. Ha-Ha. She was always golden girl, smart, beautiful and popular. I sometimes wondered how I managed to meet my parents expectations. I wasn't smart and I used mischief to mask it...

A lot went wrong after moving to that school, but now I had a fresh start, right?...

"Savannah, make yourself useful and grab your suitcase for God sake! You're 15 now, pull your wait a little!" hissed my sister, ripping through my thoughts.

"Yeah, sorry..."

The reality of all of this got to me, our house, our beautiful house, what would it look like? Dusted with webs left by our friends the spiders maybe? It hadn't been lived in for almost 5 years now, what if someone had broke in? Would anybody know? Maybe there's squatters? Again, who would check? Who would know? Does anybody care?

"No, nooooobody cares! Haha, Earth-to-Savannah?" screamed Liam, deafening me. I then realised, I'd be speaking my thoughts out loud. The whole airport probably thought I was losing it right now, a sandwich short of a picnic!

"Ha Ha" I replied, in the most sarcastic voice I could summon up.
