prologue  

Aviona's Pov:

I grabbed the last box out of the car and sat it on my new bedroom floor, I looked around I'm still trying to get over my moms death. My mom, Kate Argent died last year by the alpha, Peter Hale. He slashed her throat  for burning his family alive. My mom broke our family code and what she did was awful but I don't think killing her was necessary. I was still in deep thought when Alison came in. "hey, you have to get ready for the funeral we're leaving in a little bit."

"ok, thanks Alison for everything your a great cousin."

"no problem just remember im your favorite cousin" she looked at me with a huge smile on her face I smiled back.

"I will I promise" that said she left I got ready, I put on a black dress, with black heels I looked at myself in the mirror simple enough. When we got to the grave yard photographers and news reporters attacked us with questions and pictures about her death. Uncle Chris and Aunt Victoria did their best to protect Alison and I, when we sat down an older looking man approached us he turned to Ali and I

"do you remember me?" was the first question he asked. I noticed Ali give a slight nod then  look over at a statue naturally I looked too. There were two boys hiding behind it, when the older man looked over they both hid. I wondered who they were but I was interrupted by a voice, "Considering I haven't seen either of you since you were three I don't suppose I can assume you'll call me grandpa, so call me Gerard for the time being." So that's who he was my grandfather I don't remember him at all, but apparently Ali does. The funeral wasn't long and I managed to get through it without crying when we got home I went to my bathroom and took a long needed shower then changed into an oversized sweater and leggings. I walked into Ali's room

"hey, who were those boys behind that statue today?"

"oh that was Stiles and Scott"

"Aren't you banned from dating Scott?" I asked her.

"Yeah but were kinda secretly dating please don't tell my dad!"

"I wont, I wont, I promise" just remember this when I need shopping money.

" She groaned "fine, now get out I need my beauty sleep."

I giggled " ok I love you Ali"

"love you to Avi" that was the nickname she gave me when we were five. I walked into my room and got in bed when I closed my eyes I was instantly asleep but, before I could close my eyes one last thought went through my head my first day of school was tomorrow.

This is my first story and im kinda struggling so any constructive criticism would help a lot thanks :)
