I had never been snapped on and I am shocked that he used that tone with me like I'm just playing with him. He could say it nicely, ugh why did he need to be so complicated. I am now in the candy lane and I grab all of the candies that catch my eyes. I quickly payed for it and wait outside, luckily there's a bench so I could sit down. I looked beside me and saw Luke flirting with a girl.

He winked at the girl and she giggled. God she is annoying. I ignored them and eat my candies. I quickly text Jake to ask if he's done with the groceries. He said that he's paying for the food. Oh well. I waited for 5 minutes and then I saw them walking out with Michael and Emily.

"What did you buy?" I stated in shock cause there is so much food.

"Just food so we could never get hungry." Jade says.

"Okay." I said.

"So whose gonna walk home?" Jade ask.

"I am." I said.

"Me too." Michael and Emily said.

"Well, okay then what about Luke?" Jake says looking everywhere for him.

"I don't know." I said shrugging my shoulders.

"I'll call him." Ashton says and everyone nodded.

"Yeah man, where are you? We are going home now." Ashton said to the phone.

"Whatever." He says and then hung up.

"Well?" Jake asked.

"He says he will be back later." Ashton said.

"Okay then." I started walking down the road. Emily and Michael is following behind me. After we reached home I told them I want to get some fresh air.

I walked down the road. I don't even know where I'm going. After awhile I reached at a park. I went to the park and look around. I think I hear someone giggle so I hide behind a tree and snooped at the person.

Sadly, it wasn't a person. It is Luke and the annoying girl. I put my head down until I found the courage to walk to them. I lift my head up and just to saw Luke and the girl kissing. I think my whole world just crumble down. I felt the urged to cry but I can't. Right now, I don't feel anything.

"I like you Brittany." I heard Luke says and I feel like killing myself already but that would be stupid cause we are not even official so he could do whatever he want, right?

"Aww Lukey, me too, you're so sweet." I cringed at the nickname. It's mine, I gave him the nickname and he didn't even say anything about it. I thought we were mates? We supposed to be with each other?

I ran back home and immediatly went down to the secret room. I went to the shelf and looked for a book that contains about us. I found it, I quickly search for that page. At last I found it.

If you stay forever with your mate then you will get to live forever and ever.

So that means even if we were destined to be with each other, I can be in love with somebody else but I will not live forever. Eh that's fine with me. I don't want to be a thousand years old with the person who broke my heart.

I closed the book and went upstairs an evil smile is lingering on my face.

"Hey, Cassie." Jade says from the couch.

"Hey." I said flopping down beside her, the smile is still on my face.

"What's wrong?" She asked.
