I check my room making sure everything is packed and ready for the move my once unique room now was bare and empty and a piece of my chest ached as I thought of leaving my only home. A knock on my door interrupted my thoughts as my mother opened the door "Are you ready honey?" she asked quietly looking at me symoathetically as I look around and nod

"As I'll ever be" I look in the mirror one last time tying my hair up in a messy bun before grabbing a suitcase and a box of valuable things and heading outside to the car. Soon after I get in mom joins me and we head to the airport only 15 minutes away. Good bye California, hello England.

As soon as Claire put her lips on my neck a growl escaped my lips and we both looked at each other in shock. She is not our mate. She will never be our mate. I sigh as my wolf continues to growl rude remarks about Claire and she gets off of me "Noah, talk to me. You have been like this for weeks, we used to be so close and now you can't even touch me without growling and leaving the rokm. Tell me what I can do to be a better mate?" she rubs my shoulder gently and another growl comes out as I push past her and outside shifting into my large black wolf with white tips on my tails and ears and white paws that slam down on the ground as I run off into the woods.

As we walk out of the airport I immediately feel a difference in temperature compared to California and I praise myself for wearing the gray sweater and black leggings that I chose this morning. I look at mom as she smiles brightly " What are you so excited about?"

" I think you'll like this old friend of mine." I roll my eyes slightly and walk towards the rental car that was waiting for us and got in. Mom drove us for about two hours before her face brightened and she whispered "We're here" she pulls into a medium sized house with two floors. The outside was a beautiful chestnut color and the roof was a light brown it was the definition of beautiful. As we walked in and started unpacking, I got an anxious feeling in my stomach and my wolf paced back and forth what's wrong ari?

But she doesn't answer just continues pacing and occasionally lifting her head and sniffing.
