The day...

10:00am

"GOOOOOOOD MOOOOORNIIIIINNNNGGGG" Kevin yells, waking up everyone.
"Oh my gosh why" Avi says slowly waking up.
"Why would you do this to me?" Scott says while stretching.
"We are gonna go get food!" Kevin yells.
"FOOD? Im there." Avi yells waking up
In an instant.
"Well get ready because starbucks's breakfast ends at 11." Kevin says.
Instantly, Kirstie Mitch and Scott wake up.
"LETS GO" Mitch yells.
"Woah you guys got excited fast!" Kevin says while laughing.
"Duh its starbucks!"
Kirstin says as she smiles.
"Get ready y'all!" Kevin yells as he leaves the room. They all scatter to get their clothes out their bags and proceed to get dressed behined the curtains.
They all come out at once, ready to leave. They start chanting "Starbucks! starbucks!" As they go outside and go in the car.
"go go go go go" kirstin yells as she taps kevin on the shoulder.
"Why are you so eager?" Kevin asks Kirstin as he starts the car.
"WE HAVENT HAD STARBUCKS IN A WEEK" Kirstin yells
"WE ARE DESPERATE" Mitch yells as scott nods.
"Ok ok ok fine" He says as he begins to drive to starbuck.

11:20am

They all start to leave starbucks sadly. Mitch still has his Venti iced coffee and his cookie.
"You gonna eat that?" Scott says, pointing to mitchs cookie.
"Duh!" Mitch says, pushing scott away.
"Aaaaaawww" scott says, looking at the floor.
"That was so fun! Im so happy we found some fans there! Its so awesome!" Avi says as he throws his
cup in the nearby garbage.
"Where did we park??" Scott asks.
"Across the street." Mitch says, pointing across the busy street.
"It wasnt that busy earlier!" Kirstin says.
"Well its around the time people start leaving for work so you know..." Kevin says.
"Well alright lets- OH! Its on walk! Lets hurry!" Avi yells, as he runs toward the light. The others follow behined him, running like jets. Mitch is at the back
Because he had to tie his shoe before they started running.
"Mitch hurry!" Scott yells.
"I know im sorry!" Mitch yells back. Mitch gets destracted and trips over a rock.
"Mitch!!!!" Kirstin yells looking back at mitch.
He is on the floor struggling to get up.
"THE LIGHT IS GREEN MITCH HURRY" Avi yells. Scott takes a run for mitch. He grabs mitch and lifts him up. He is helping mitch across as he limps. A moving truck suddenly comed speeding around the corner.
"Scott Look out!" Kirstin yells pointing to the giant truck.
Scott pushes mitch out of the way as he lands in kevins arms. But suddenly, everything stopped. He saw the entire thing in slow motion, like a video. He saw mitch safely across the giant street. He was on the floor, holding his leg with wide eyes and tears. He made eye contact with Scott. Soon, he saw two lights and felt a giant force push him. Nothing painful, just a push. Soon, he couldnt move. His eyes were open, and he was all scratched up and bleeding.
"SCOTT!!!!" They all yell, as they run to scott. Mitch is limping over to scott.
"SCOTT! CAN YOU HEAR ME?"
Kevin yelled. Scott tried talking, but he couldnt move any part of him. Not even his eyes. All he saw was the sun.
He heard cries and weeps and saw people all around. Everything was slow
Motion. He then saw himself as a kid. He saw his first christmas.
He saw his first play.
He saw his first choir performance.
He saw mitch and kirstin performing with him when they were 14.
He then saw them winning the sing off.
Then he saw the on my way home tour.
Then he heard ambulances.
Then, there was nothing.
Kirstin was calling 911 as she cried so hard she couldnt even talk. Avi was tearing up with his hands on his face. Kevin was on his knees crying into his hands. Mitch was crying over scott, as tears dripped onto scotts ruffled and bloody shirt. Ambulances were appearing as men came out and loaded scott onto a bed and carried him into an ambulance.
"Ok i beleive you guys will have to leave. Plea-"
An officer said, as he was interrupted by mitch.
"No! PLEASE! dont take him away from us!" Mitch begs.
"Please let us come!" Avi says as he cries into kirstins shoulder.
The police looks at their red eyes and wet cheeks.
"Alright. Come in the ambulence."
The officer says.
They nod their heads as they begin to watch scott being loaded onto a bed. They follow as crowds of people surround them. They hear people
Shouting "its pentatonix!" And other things. They are worried they will realise what had just happened.
They quickly scattered into the ambulence. They sat on the provided benches inside the ambulence as scott is put in the middle of the floor of the ambulence. Silence falls upon the ambulence. The doctor checks scott and sees what happens. He puts a needle in scott and attaches it to a computer. He checks and reads his pulse. It is slowly beeping every 7
Seconds. Suddenly, a long, haunting beep falls across the monitor. It was over so fast.
Mitch falls into kirstins lap. Kirstins runs her fingers through mitchs hair. Kevin and avi silently cry as they stare at scotts body being covered by a blanket.
"Its ok" kirstin whispers to mitch in a dry voice.
"Its all my fault." Mitch says as he sits up, emotionless.
"No it isnt." Kevin says.
"YES IT IS! Its my fault i fell! I tripped and made scott run in front of me! ITS ALL MY FAULT!" Mitch yells, as he puts his hands over his eyes.
"He saved me..." Mitch says.
"He risked his life to help me cross when I fell..." Mitch says as he looks at scott covered in a sheet.
A silence falls upon the ambulence. No sounds are heard. Not even the sirense can be heard. They arrive at the hospital. Scott is taken inside.
They know they cant go see him. They will never see him again....
They go outside the ambulance. They look at the sky as tears fall down their faces. Avi starts walking towards a nearby field. They see him walk in the middle. He starts moving his mouth. They follow him into the beautiful green feild of tall grass. He suddenly hears a low tune. Then, he hears the beginning of "standing by"
They realise what he is doing.
They all join in singing "Standing By" in a circle. They hold hands as they sing with their eyes closed. At the end of the song, kevin lays a prayer for scott. They all bow their heads. Scott was gone...
