Thunder boomed loudly across the town.
The rain was coming down really hard now.
Lots of people were walking the streets with dark raincoats and umbrellas.
My eyes quickly skimmed the crowd in search of him.
God, where the hell was he?
I checked my watch. 11:30.
30 minutes until midnight.
I was going to be late getting home if he didnt show up soon.
