Friend Zoned

Chapter 1

Bailey's P.O.V

I kept my eyes on the TV in front of me as I watched an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants.

"Bailes do you want something to eat?" My best friend Tyler Seguin called from the kitchen.

Did I mention the Tyler Seguin is my best friend? Well yeah he is me and him have been friends for about 6 years and ever since then we've been inseparable and even though he's a hockey player we always manage to keep in touch no matter where he is and sometimes we even get asked if we're dating but we always say no since Tyler has a girlfriend named Sidney.

"Yeah can you bring me my jar of Nutella and a spoon please?" I asked sweetly, my eyes still glued to the TV.

"I can't" he replied.

"Why not?" I asked confused.

"Uh because I kinda maybe sort of ate it" he said nervously.

"YOU WHAT?" I yelled, standing up from my spot on the couch.

"I'm sorry I got hungry" he chuckled.

"Tyler you knew that jar was my last one" I pouted.

"I'm sorry" he said, wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

"No I'm mad at you until you can get me a new jar of Nutella" I said, trying to keep a serious face.

We both looked at each other and bursted out into laughter for no apparent reason which is something we were known for.

"Come on let's go to the store" Tyler said as he walked to the door.

"What why?"

"To get you some Nutella" he smiled.

"Yaaaaaaaaaay" I yelled, and quickly slipped on my shoes before running outside to his car.

I heard Tyler laughing as he locked his front door and walked to the drivers seat.

"Don't laugh at me Ty Ty" I joked, hearing him groan at the nickname I gave him.

"Don't call me that" he said and drove down to the store.

"Ok I'm sorry Ty Ty" I replied laughing.

He rolled his eyes and turned on the radio blasting Hotline Bling by Drake and since he knew how much I hated that song he turned up the volume and sang the lyrics.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO" I yelled at the top of my lungs and put on the CD.

I heard My Curse by Killswitch Engage(great song by the way you guys should listen to it) come on making me cheer and Tyler groan as he lowered the volume.

"This is my curse" I sang.

When we finally got to the store Tyler parked the car in a nearby space allowing us to hop out and walk in the store.

"Um excuse me" I heard a little boy say.

"What's up bud" Tyler smiled and knelt down to his level.

"Can I have your autograph Mr.Seguin?" He asked shyly.

Tyler smiled,"Of Course you can" Tyler said and signed his piece of paper before giving it back to him.

"Thank you" the boy smiled.

"No problem" Tyler replied as the boy ran off.

"Aw your so good with kids" I smiled.

"I know I am" he said cockily as we walked down the candy isle.

I rolled my eyes playfully and grabbed about 5 big jars of Nutella and walking to the cash.

"Holy shit how much Nutella do you need girl?" Tyler teased as he paid for the jars.

"I like to load up for rainy days and movie nights" I replied.

Tyler chuckled as we got in his car and drove home.

Boy am I lucky to have a friend like Tyler in my life.
