Friend Zoned

Chapter 3

Bailey's P.O.V

I left Tyler's house as quickly as possible and since I didn't want to feel like the third wheel I just let them be.

"Bailey" I heard a voice call from behind me.

I turned around and saw my other good friend Jamie Benn standing behind me.

"Hey Jamie" I smiled.

"What are you doing out here I thought you we're with Tyler" he said.

"Well I was but then Sydney showed up so I left" I shrugged.

"Oh I get it" he nodded understandingly.

"What are you doing out here Mr.Benn?" I asked jokingly.

"Just taking a walk" he replied simply.

"Well I'm gonna let you get back to your walk see you at the game tonight" I waved at him, earning one back as he walked off.

I reached my front door after another five minutes of walking and walked inside to the kitchen.

"Bailey" my brother said.

"Hey Daniel" I smiled, as I grabbed a water bottle.

"Are you still going to the game tonight?" He asked.

"Yeah why" I cocked an eyebrow in his direction.

"Just asking" he shrugged and walked to the living room.

"Well are coming with me?" I asked, as I followed him.

"Can't I have work" he sighed.

"Oh ok" I said and walked upstairs.

When I got to my room I pulled my phone out of my pocket and put it to charge as I got ready for the game.

I slipped on my Seguin jersey and a pair of black leggings before applying some mascara and putting my hair in a high ponytail.

"Hey Bailey in going now" my brother announced as he walked in my room.

"Oh ok I'll see you after the game" I replied, giving him a hug.

"Ok bye" was the last thing he said before walking out of the room.

I looked at the time on the clock and saw that it was 6:15 so I grabbed my phone off the charger and ran downstairs where I slipped on my shoes grabbed my keys and walked to my car.

The entire car ride to the arena consisted of me jamming out to almost every song on the radio especially when the fray came on.

I found God on the corner of first and Amistad where the west was all but won. All alone smoking his last cigarette I said where you been he said ask anything.

I sang loudly as I drove down the highway. This song was one of my favourites it had really nice lyrics just like all their songs and the meaning behind the lyrics is what I love most about their music.

When I had finally arrived at the arena I parked my car in an empty space and walked to where the security guard was so I showed him my ticket and walked inside.
