D.Gray-man Fan-fiction one Shot.

Birthday..WHAT?

First one here I go!
I don't own D.gray-man!

The day had started out normal enough. Woke up early. Did a quick workout in my room. Went down to see what Jerry could cook up to sooth my nawing hunger. Of course he didn't disapoint. I was on my 24 plate of dango when I took notice of the calm quiet. The dinning room was empty exept for a few people I didn't really know.
'Where was everyone?' The only person I knew the wearabouts of was Lenalee, being on a mission with Miranda to take care of an akuma problem. Lavi also hadn't made an apperance talking up some of the fellow female exorsts or being beat down by the fellow female exorcist. I smiled around my mouthful of food, baka. I stopped smiling when I heared a loud grunt come from behind me. Shoving the last of the food in my hand into my mouth I turned to address the person behind me. I had thought it was Kanda finally coming to start a fight. So I had a glare already plastered to my face, prepared to give back any insulting remark he passed my way.
"What is it now Bakan-." I stopped. Oops it wasn't kanda, a finder was standing there with his head down and rage written on his face. He probable thought I was talking down at him. I sighed dropping my earlier annoyance. Swinging my legs around in my seat I now faced him.
"Allen Walker," I nod. Not that I have to, my white hair and blazing red scar are proof enough.
"You are wanted in Mr. Lee's office as soon as possible." With the news delivered, he quickly turned on his heel and left. An angry stomp in his step.
'Gahh, I can't do anything right!' I had been trying hard since I got to the order to get to know some of the finders here, but they all etheir ignored me or simply stated that they did not care. exorcist still can't get along, but then again I am the cursed one. The one who will turn into the destroyer of time. Yup that was me. The fourteenth Noah. Clenching the fist of my left hand, the cursed demon hand. I sighed getting up and yelling a quick thank you to Jerry who gave me a small wave.
"Come back whenever your hungry dear!" I smiled alittle at that, but it soon left my face when I exited the giant dinner room. Slumping my shoulders. Great I had made myself all depressed and komui-san was probably going to give me a mission. I can't say no and he would get suspious if I didn't show up. So squaring my shoulders and putting on a smile, I march my way down the large halls to komui's door. Instantly faltering as I realize something. I hadn't had a single bicker with that bakanda all day or been jumped by Lavi in a bone crushing hug. It was to quiet around the order. I am slightly wondering the true intentions of Komui-san wanting me. Lavi could be a real trickster and if it had anything to do to make me mad, Bakanda would be there.
My gaze slowly drifted up to the door trying to see what fate layed behind it. Giving up I shrug and grip the door handle jerking it open in one push.
Taking a deep breath I drag my eyes around the room. Nothing unusual so far. Still same old piles of papers cover every inch. The only thing that wasn't there that should have been was Komui.
"Uh...K-Komui-san?" I walk towards what I would believe to be his desk.
I was concerned now that komui had die under one of the piles, so I pushed one to the side, leaving my defence open for whoever had just grabed me from behind. Restraining my arms and trying to pull me to the ground.
"Innocents activate!" Crown clown activated, my left hand growng to a large black claw. Shoving my attacher back, I spin around ready to pounce.
"Allen! W-Wait!" Stopping mid leap I see that my attacker was none other then the trickster rabbit himself.
"Lavi what are you doing in Koumi-san office? Do we have a mission together And better question what the heck was that!" Crown clown still activated I lean over the red haired man anger pulsing in my head. He started to sweat and figet.
"W-Well...you s-see I was tryintopmmgh" He'd started to mubble the last part. Making me sigh in annoyance. Deactivating Crown clown I give Lavi a look saying I wasn't mad anymore, maybe depending on what he said next.
"Come on Lavi what is it and where is everyone? Not even Bakanda has insulted me today." Crossing me arms and raising a brow I wait for his answer. He stood up from his place on the ground, fixing his eyepatch and bandana and smiled.
"Allen, komui-san didn't send for you to get a mission, its for something else." His grin widened (if it possiblely could). I give him a questioning look. He just nodded like a mad man and reached for my arm, pulling me towards the door.
"Lavi! You still haven't answered my question! Where is everyone?" I'd been dragging my heels in the ground trying to halt my movement, but admited defeat when he just pulled harder ignoring my protest.
He'd dragged me down several halls and rooms for what felt like hours, but was most likely only acouple of minutes. Lavis was being so quiet and would not get rid of that mad grin. We turned another corner and something barelled into my chest, knocking me into Lavi and causing him down with me.
"Hmpf!" I let out a grunt as I make a ruff landing on the ground. Lavi doing the same. Coming up quickly on to my elbows, my eyes widen at what had hit me.
"TIM! Oh where have you been? Probably with master I'd bet!" By now I was sitting up squishing the golden golem to my face. I let a stream of tears flow down my face in joy. Tim cudled my cheek in reponse.
"Hey! How come he gets the warm welcome and I get yelled at!" Lavi pouted, still laying face down on the floor. I stuck my tongue out at him my tears of joy halted.
"I like him more and he didn't try to kiddnap me like some creepy guy." He continued to pout so I placed Tim on my head, where he gladly settled down. I stood up and graped Lavi under his arms helping him up. Which was difficult considering how much taller he is.
"Lavi, tell me where are we going I'm tired of this game." Lavi just waved me off, wipping the creases out of his jacket and continuing down the hall. Glancing up at Tim, I pat his wings.
"Do you know whats going on?" My Answer was silences from the golem.
I'd been sulking the whole time. Head down and dragging my feet. My stomach let out a growl, I was hungry again. I heard Lavi snicker at the sound. Glaring at the back of his head, I know what he's doing. I could tell we'd been walking in circles because the next time he stopped it was right infront of the door where Tim had found us.
"Lavi..." I gave him a warning tone. He flinched. Ha serves him right.
"Just give me a second okay? Just trust me." He looked so exited and serous that I was confused and just nodded. He nodded back smiling brighter once again heading into the door ahead, turning to look at me once more.
"Stay."I pout at the demand. I was not a dog. Lavi shut the door behind him.
5 mintues passed. I slouched against the wall. Tim sleeping I think on my head.
10 mintues passed. Tim had moved from head and now sit on my lap doing whatever he did.
25 mintues later and I am now ready to bust down that door. Pacing back and forth, Tim back on my head. Though this quiet wait did give me time to think about the Earl amd what his next move was, but those thoughts were stalled when I heard the creak of a door opening. Jumping into a fighting stance I inch toward the door. No way was Lavi getting at me again. The more I inched froward, the more worried I goy. Where was Lavi? All I could see was darkness coming from the open room. Sensimg no akuma with my eye I entered still careful. 'It could be a trick.' Oh how Lavi would pay for this if it was.
Now inside the room I squint in the dark unable to see. Once I was paced the door I heard a slam and turned to see or not see that it was closed. I was enveloped in darkness and my breath hitched.
"O-ok Lavi you got me now stop f-fooling around!" I shouted out hoping that this wasn't something actually hadn't happened.
Suddenly coming from the darkness at all corners of the room I heard quiet whispering.

Ok this was getting creepy. But the voices were almost like they were smiling.

I spin around in all direction the were getting ready for something. Putting on a fighting face, I ready to activate my innocents.

The lights came on in a blur and I saw figures jump up.
"HAPPY BIRTH-"
"INOCENTS AC-"
All sounds stopped. Surrouding me was not a hored of Noah or akuma but of all my friends of the black order. Mind you it wasn't anyless surprising. Crown clown had activated covering my face with a mask.
"Wha-whats going on?" I looked around there were ribbions and decorations all over the walls and ceiling.
"Che" I quickly turn my head at the annoying sound, knowing it was kanda.
"What is it Bakanda?" I glare at long hair man, forgeting the others in the room.
"Oi, watch it moyashi" He brought his sword up into view, bit did not unshealth it. I raised my brow and gave him a look.
"Che. You really are dense moyashi." I was about to insult back but his words caught in my head.
"Dense?...Wait what do you mean?" I looked around again. Oh no.oh no no no. Was all I could think. Had it been someones birthday and I forgot? Frenticly looking at everyones faces I try to remember. Kory nope. Choji nope. Johnny nope. Kanda...well not that I cared anyway. I saw two people walk up to me out of the corner of my eye. Shifting my gaze I see that it's Lenalee and Komui-san. 'Wait wasn't she on a mission with Miranda?' Seeing as Miranda stood off to the side with Kory and Lavi I'd guess not.
Lenalee came up beside me and put a hand on my shoulder, I deactivated crown clown.
"You really don't know whats going on do you?" I shake my head in shame. How could I forget someones birthday. What was the date anyway? I don't think I've really noticed the days passing.
"Umm...lenalee just a quick question but ah what might the date be?" Shuffleing around on my feet, I get ready to feel the pain of guilt at the answer. Instead I get a laugh from that Bakanda and baka bunny. Lifting my gaze up I can see that almost everyone is ethier smiling or laughing, but not a mocking laugh, more like one you give a small child for doing something silly.
"Haha moyashi-chan~ its the 25 of December!" Lavi bounced around before coming up and throwing his arms around me. 'The 25 of December...taht wasn't anyones birthday but..' My eyes widen in realization.
"Ha, so that light finally came on in your head moyashi!" Kanda smirked. I just stared at him and it disapeared. It was my birthday. Not my real one, I didn't know when that was. No one did, but on this day December 25. A great man named Mana Walker saved me and adopted me. He was gone now and I had not shared it with anyone. How did they know?
"Oi, Moy-. Allen." I came out of my daze to feel something wet run down my face. I had started crying.
"H-How d-did you f-find out?" I was shaking now. The tears wouldn't stop. Lavi let go of me as Komui stepped forward and grabed both my shoulders, looking down at me.
"Cross sent a letter a few days ago telling us, we thought you might like a little party to celebrate and get your mind off things." I nod, but continue to feel the tears. Thats when something finally kicks in my head they did this all for me, it was my birthday and they wanted to share it with me. This brought new tears to flow. 'Just great I'm standing here sobbing like a child and there all here to make me happy.' Feeling silly I wipe my eyes and take a deep breath. Eyes widening I spin on my heel and rush towards the girly samari. Stopping just inches away looking up at him. I can feel the surprised stares from everyone else. Kanda eyed me trying to figure out what I was doing, but otherwise not moving or saying a word.
"You..you called me by my name." That was all I could get out. Gasps of realisation went off around us.
"Che" Kanda looked away but then looked back. "So what?"
I just shoke my head as a smile grew.
"Nothing just glad you finally learned how to say it" I laughed at his annoyed face. So did everyone else.
"Fine laugh but don't get used to it. Take it as a freakin gift moyashi." Kanda growled at everyone forcing them to take a step back. I instead reached out and gave him a small punch.
"Thanks." Was all I said. I had stopped crying and now it was only a dull ach in my heart. I hadn't had many birthdays with Mana, but they still meant everything to me. Now all my new family was here to celebrate the new life I got. And it made me smile. Feeling a bunch of arms come around me I see everyone has pulled into a group hug, even kanda who was trying to slice Lavi and Komui as they pulled him in. He gave up thought when he saw it was no use.
"Baka usagi" was his final remark.
Lenalee pushed closer and I heard her louder then the others as they all said together.
"Happy birthday Allen!"
I smiled, best birthday ever. That is until my stomack growled and I flushed in embarrasment.
"I guess its time for cake!"
'Yeah..best birthday ever.'
