BEHIND THE MASK

chapter fifteen ( summer in Seoul)

A big billboard, written on it welcome to Seoul at the incheon airport was obviously an indication that, we were no more standing on the land of USA.

We were in a different world, a complete different weather. The wind blowing here felt different. I look around and the airport attendants looks cool with their white top and black under, the red bowtie made them really cute.

I look around and move to the counter. Where is the nearest hotel? I ask the attendant. She look at her book and begin calling out some strange names which were probably a Korean language.
But this one sound great and I chose it. Gangnam hotel and restaurant.

Thank you I said and turn over to my siblings who were looking around in amazement. I hold their hands without their consent which I'm sure startled them.
We walk out of the airport and right in front of me was Angel and Nora.
They look at each in awe, I know what they were thinking, they wondered who my siblings might be, my girlfriend and her friend? Or they are both my friends?
I know that was their thoughts.

But how did you come here? I ask with a trembling voice. I wanted to create more suspicion. We are here to meet you Angel said. But how d.... ,, oh I remember telling you the flight and where it will be landed.

I look around and my eyes glance a coffe shop. Why don't we get something hot to drink and talk? I said and we head over.

I ordered coffe for us, I could see the discomfort of Angel but I know she will soon get her answers. We sat on the chairs, Nora next Angel, Joyce next to Nora and me and Joanna besides each other.
I drank a cup full of coffe, I look at Angel and her cup was still intact, Joanna and Joyce had a sip. Nora had nothing like Angel.

Angel look at Joyce and Joanna with some jealousy in her eyes. Me not telling her anything made her uneasy. Nora looked at me with anger. I then notice how they felt.

I took Joyce's cup of coffe and she rush over to get it, I drank part of it which render me a hit on the chest, Joanna hit me to aid her sister. I mean Joyce. They both begin their lovely hits which pissed off Nora and Angel.
Sly?!! Nora shouted and everyone in the shop turn around. Even though most of them understand not.
Won't you tell us who they are? Are you going to show her to us as your girlfriend and hurt my friend?

I smile and stood up, I hold her hand and made her sit down. She looked at me puzzled.

I look at Angel and to Nora, I know what you are thinking but none of that is true. I have never tell you about my sister , right ? For Angel I think I remember telling you I had a sister I know not of.
Angel nodded and looked at Joyce and back to me.
Now that you say it, I can see the resemblance. Angel said.

Yea she is my younger sister, her name is Joyce and her friend also now my sister , Joanna. I said pointing to Joanna.

So you mean they are your sisters? Nora ask with some energy. Yea I said. Nora smile and introduce herself and Angel.
We already know Angel, Joanna said. Who in Philadelphia doesn't know her.

And moreover, our friend saved her the other day when she was kidnapped. She added.
What ? Your friend ? Angel asked eagerly.
Yea we consider him our friend because he had save me thrice. Joyce cut in.

So you don't know him either? Nora asked the obvious.
No we don't, we know only by his mask. Joyce answered.

It is nice meeting you guys, Nora said. To be frank you guys scared the he'll out of me. Nora admitted.
Sorry , Joanna apologise.

So where are you guys staying? Angel asked.
Oh Gangnam hotel and restaurant. I said and Angel turn to Joanna with some joy. Why? I ask.
We are staying there too. Oh really ? That is great then. I said.
