Chapter 3 : Love or Lust ?

Kay's POV

I felt myself drifting asleep . All I remembered was hearing Jay say , "You look tired . Lemme carry you up to bed ." I opened my eyes and looked up . It was so beautiful . There was art on his ceiling . I was startled when he said , "You like my art ?" My heart was pounding out of my chest . His voice was just so soothing . I could melt . I turned to face him .. He still had no shirt on .. I tried not to stare but it was hard . He had a tattoo on his chest that said , "Live for you !" He was so muscular . I looked up to see him looking at me ... I blushed . I think I like him . I don't really know him though . It never occurred to me he was a thug like my brother . He seemed so different . That's not a good or bad thing to be honest . He's just ... Different .

"Kay .. I want you to know .. I think i'm falling for you . I know all about you , I mean your brother brags . He has something to be proud of . Also , I feel ya on the beating and ish . My bitch-ass step father used to abuse me . My mom let him . I grew up hating her . I wanted to hate my father but I couldn't my ma left him . She was slut and always was . She used to bring men home all the time . I dreaded the day she would die . Now , i'm happy that bitch is burning in hell . "

I was in complete shock . I had no words . We've met for the first time but , "I feel like I knew him all my life ." Did I say that out loud ? I looked down shyly . He lifted my head up with his finger and we were lost in each others eyes until my phone rang . Xan's name popped up on the screen . "Hello ?" ... "Yeah im alright ." ... "I'm with Jay .. Why ?" ... "We did nothing but watch a movie .. Chill bro .. Damn !" ... What ever , Love ya too ." ... "Bye"

"Everything okay ?"

"Yeah .. Just Xan being a big bro ."

My phone vibrated . I got a text from Blake .

Why is Xan leaving again ? Is Jay lying ? Does Blake like me ? My phone vibrated . Text from Unknown .

Unknown : Hello my princess , your big brother will be leaving and might not return . If I were you .. I'd listen to what im gonna say . I'm plotting to kill your brother . He hurt me and my family .. This business trip is what his "boss" instructed him . I'm black mailing his boss . I've fallen in love with you . I want you . I know you , but you also know me ..
