"You- WHAT?!"

"Sorry, I didn't have time to tell you."

"For three days, Joy. You couldn't send me a text at least?"

"It's all good now, Casey. Me and Seb are working on our plan."

Casey sighed. Now what is she supposed to do?

She sat back on her bed, hanging up the phone as she shut her eyes. What did you do, Joy? She could not believe what her friend just told her. And Sebastian? How? And their boss? What in the world? And why is Joy after her?

All the thoughts in her head gave her a headache that she resolved by taking a nap.

It was midnight when she woke up and her stomach was already demanding to be fed. She immediately checked her phone but was disappointed to find nothing from Joy. What was her friend thinking? Going after Jane to kill her? That's a bit absurd.

She then decided on McDonald's. The breakfast menu is all day.

Casey drove to the nearest McDonald's she found. The smell of french fries filled her nose as she stood behind a guy in a bun, waiting in line. Then her stomach grumbled. "Shhh... Be quiet," she mumbled.

"S'cuse me?" The guy turned around to look at Casey.

God, he's cute. "Huh?"

"You were saying something?" He looked puzzled.

"What?! I didn't say anything." Casey quickly fumbled for her phone, trying to get out of talking to the guy.

She could not help look back up at the guy and when she did, it was surprising that he was still looking at her. He grinned and aww he looked like a cute little kid. She smiled back. The guy opened his mouth to say something when someone called him. "Hey Ash, can you order us some fries too?" Casey turned her head to the group of guys sitting at the corner table, laughing amongst themselves.

And when she turned her head back, the guy was already at the counter to order. "I can help the next customer in line," the other cashier called.

Casey decided to take her food back to her dorm instead. On the drive home she checked her phone one more time and... Still nothing. She's really worried for Joy. What if Jane found her first? What would their boss do to her? What if Sebastian can't be trusted? Joy knew better than to trust anyone. But she knew her friend could not help it. She doesn't blame Joy for gaining any kinds of feelings for Sebastian, whether it'd be platonic or not. Then her mind wandered back to the guy at McDonald's. But, it was just a crush. There's nothing wrong with crushes. They don't get you killed.

Except when she was thinking about that Ash guy, a car pulled up right in front of her, making her slam on her brakes. "What the fuck?!" she yelled. So close. She had just turned the corner into a two-way street when a black Sedan completely blocked her path and her mind instantly went to panic mode.

"Shit" she whispered. She knew what this was. A guy came out of the driver's seat, pulling up a gun from behind and fired. Her windows cracked, close to shattering, when another black car stopped next to the Sedan. This time a woman came out, dressed in all black with a short blonde bob cut. She pulled out two pistols and fired at Casey. "Not today, fuckers," she grumbled. She stepped on her gas, speeding towards the woman. The blonde lady dove to the side as Casey crashed into the black car. She switched gears and reversed quickly. If she were to drive an entire street in reverse, this would be it.

The thought seemed cooler in the movies because all that was happening was her truck going backwards at fifty miles per hour, hitting a mailbox from time to time. The Sedan was chasing her, with the guy firing nonstop.
