Bio of Cardiff

Hello! I thought I should upload a chapter of my OC's biography so that her actions/history are better understood. Now there is a lot of information here so you don't have to read it, it's just here for reference. I will probably upload a bio for Newport (my second OC) later but for now, here's stuff about Carwyn Kirkland ^_^

Name: Carwyn Kirkland

· Xiamen (Nickname by China (put this here because Cardiff was the first UK city to be "twinned" by China))

· Caerdydd (Welsh name, Wales and Newport usually refers to her as this)

· Hordaland (Nickname by Norway)

· Luhansk (Ukraine)

· Sucre (Bolivia)

· Nantes (France)

· Baltimore (USA)

· Stuttgart (Germany)

· Tiger Bay (Nickname used by all the nations who traded with her in WWII (This fell out of use after that))

Eyes: Silver/grey

Hair: Golden blonde

Any special features:

· She has a curl (Cardiff Castle) that comes from her hair parting

· She has scars on her body from when the Vikings (the nations of Scandinavia) overpowered her and then the Normans (France)

· She used to have the infamous Kirkland Brows but she plucked them during WWII so her eyebrows are now tidy

· Does dip-dye her hair from time to time

History (this is in no particular order):

She gave shelter from air raids during WWII and provided a large supply of coal for the war effort. She was a ruthless pirate (In Spain's opinion). She received the first ever £1million cheque (for coal export during WWII. Cardiff was made a city in 1905 but research suggests that her history at least spans 6,000 years! Before and during WWII she was extremely wealthy due to the coal trade, however after the war she had virtually no demand for coal as everyone had moved onto use oil; as a result everyone left her alone. She was depressed because of her sudden loss of friends... but she bounced back and used different areas of trade to get her to where she is today; she is more popular now than back when she traded steel and coal.

· Though she's not an amazing cook, she has been improving with the help of the other nations (still better than England //shot)

· She's very loud and bubbly but more in a friendly polite way

· Can hold her drink better than England

· Very kind and will try and help solve most situations

· Likes to be brave but she can be a coward when caught off guard

· Fairly gifted with magic, she can see Flying Mint Bunny, other mythical creatures that hang around with England and has a pet red dragon named Huw

· Huw is very lazy, but can be very violent when he senses Carwyn is in trouble

· Huw can also change sizes at will (and sometimes into an actual human with Carwyn's magic)

· Likes to travel, often stays at the houses of countries she has twinning arrangements with to learn about other cultures a lot more.

· She's much more popular than her brother, which does get on his nerves (Italy and Romano much? XD). Only he just deals with it by playing golf

· A slight pervert (She hides this and behaves)

· She is quite wealthy but also respectfully charitable

· A horrible shutter-bug, almost to the level of Japan

· She's a massive geek about video games

· She does have a history of using drugs but she doesn't bother with them too much now
