Chapter 8

Sakura's mouth twitched into a satisfactory smirk as she walked away from the Uchiha. Well, he had it coming, Did he actually thought that she would forget all he has done to her in the past and fall into his arms just because he gave her a little attention? No she won't. She won't let him trample on her pride. If he want to be with her, he has work for it.

'But he finally showing us attention.' Whined inner-Sakura.

'You have no self-respect. Do you?' Sakura shot back.

'Don't behave like your heart didn't flutter when he ask you out.'

'So what? I never said that I stopped loving him. But what if he is just wanted us because of Sarada. Because I'm damn sure that he doesn't love me.' Sakura thought.

Inner just rolled her eyes, 'Then make him fall for you! SHANNARO!'

'Trust me, I planned on it.' Smiled Sakura.

'What are going to do about Mini-Us?'

'Mini-Us? You mean Sarada. I don't know yet. I'm sure future-us would be very worried. We have to find the way to send her back.'

'Is it selfish of us to keep her here? Did you miss how Sasuke-Kun was looking at her. Like she is the most precious gem in the world.' No Sakura didn't. But she knew that as much as she wanted Sarada to stay, Sarada has to return. Her life, her friends, her parents must be very worried about her.

Sakura walked in the laboratory and waited for the results.

" Haruno-san?" Sakura looked at the medic, who was holding a blue folder.

"These are the results, I suppose." The medic nodded and handle it to Sakura. Sakura thanked her and went to find Sasuke.

Fortunately, Sasuke was still there where she left him but he was sulking. Sakura walked to him. She took his collar and disappeared in a poof.

As they appeared infront of the Hokage's office, Sakura let go of the scowling Uchiha and enter the office as Sasuke stomped after her.

"Results are here Shisou." Sakura gave the folder to Tsunade. And went to stand with Sasuke.

Tsunade wordlessly opened the folder and began to read. Her eyes squinted at every detail. Sasuke clicked his tongue, impatiently and almost growled as Sakura elbowed him. He glared at her but she merely smired. After a minute or so Tsunade finally cleared her throat.

"It's positive." Sakura could swear that she heard Sasuke sighing in relief.

"Shishou, are we going send her back?"

"Yes Sakura, she doesn't belong here. I'll figure ut somehow. But for the time being she will stay with you. Try to keep low profile as possible. We can't afford many people to know about her. As for you Uchiha, you will be under prohibition for at least a month," She paused, " Sakura you leave, Uchiha stay here." Sakura nodded and left, giving Sasuke a last glance.
