The New Girl In Town.

1. First Day Butterflies

Today is my first day at a new school. God I'm really scared.
Well I mean I should probably introduce myself. My name is Lilly Maverick. I'm 16 years old. I had to move to Omaha, Nebraska because my parents are getting divorce and my mom got full custody. Fortunately I actually like my mom. But I also love my dad. He was my best friend before, I found out he cheated on my mom with a whore from work. He had been cheating on her for months before she actually found out.

Anyways, Today is my first day of school. I kind of got off track, oops. But I'm really scared.

"Mom." I said.

(No answer)

"MOM" I yelled.

"What." She said.

"Do I have to go to school?" I said.

"Yes, you don't want a bad reputation when it's only your first day." She said.

I unwillingly walked down our wooden stairs and grabbed a piece of toast. Yummy. I love toast. It's so crunchy and good. Especially with butter. Ok I'm totally off track but whatever.

After I finished my toast, I grabbed my keys, backpack, and coat I walked out to my car and hopped in. It's so much colder here than in Cali. Ugh. But whatever. I put my key in the ignition and immediately turned on the heat. I backed out of the long driveway and into the street.

I eventually reached the school. Which may I say is humongous. There are so many kids. I turned off the car, grabbed my keys and backpack and stepped out of my car. (btw she drives a Volkswagen Beetle) I looked around at my surroundings. Everything was so cliquey. I already know I'm not going to like it here.

I look around as I walk towards the huge building. I see all the cliques such as the popular's, the outcasts, the jock's, the drugie's, and so many more. This school is just like the one in Cali I hated it. I stop right in front of the building and read the name.

"Westside High School."
