16th Century

"Ahoy me hands! What a fine day is among us!" Oliver Heron announced to his fellow crew mates and to his left stood Jonas Heron, his twin brother. The brothers were famous pirates, who roamed the seas. They weren't always pirates they were once men of such fine standards.

"Oliver, we are not true speaking pirates." Jonas told his brother in a low murmur, running a hand through his blonde locks. Oliver looked at his brother disbelievingly,

"Brother we are true pirates though." Oliver bellowed, which earned a crowd of cheers from the crew. Jonas glared at Oliver, they had a secret. A secret none of the crew knew about. You might already know of the secret but it is a secret all the same. The twins were time travellers; that's why they became pirates. Neither of them wanted to continue their lives out in the open, when out in the sea it was easier for them to control their jumps.

"Jonas and I must go to the Capt'in's Cabin. If I 'ear such as a peep from any of yer, yer walk the plank!" Oliver seethed at the crew. They all quivered under his intense glare, whereas Jonas rolled his eyes.

"Ay Cap'tin!" The crew went back to work, scrubbing the decks, cooking, whatever they could find. None wanted to walk the plank, not in the seas they were travelling. There are legends of sea serpents that roam the bottom of the seas looking for their next supper.

In the Captain's cabin the brothers were sat round a table.

"Now, Oliver was that threat necessary. The crew are trust worthy and loyal enough not to disturb us whilst we discuss." Jonas scolded his brother. Jonas was born two minutes after Oliver making him the youngest; however he acts like the oldest.

"Jonas, everything I say or do on this ship is necessary. The crew won't believe in us if we start to act like the snobs we once were." Oliver exclaimed.

"I would rather be a snob then be with filth." Jonas muttered under his breath, Oliver heard him and sent him an intense glare. "This is pathetic, being pirates."

"Jonas it is for our safety. I don't want either of us killed because we are different. If anybody found out, I don't want to know what would happen to you." Oliver told Jonas. He sat down at his desk, head in hands. Jonas walked over to his brother and put an arm around him for comfort.

"I know but I would rather die on land than out at sea. I miss our family, the one we left behind. We had lives before this; a future before all this happened. Oliver I just want that back. The life I know." Oliver looked up at his brother, and smiled slightly. Jonas looked away from his brother's gaze. "I wish we could do something for others like us. Something which means they don't have to run away." His brother nodded his head in response. For awhile the two brothers sat in silence. Until one of them, Oliver, shot up from his chair.

"A school! That's what we'll do. We'll start a school!" Jonas shook his head.

"You have forgotten one minor detail brother. Where are we going to start a school, we're in the middle of the sea?" Jonas enquired. Oliver laughed at his brother.

"Jonas, the next port we come near to, that is where we'll start our school. Oliver explained his idea. Jonas looked at his brother curiously. "Oh come on now don't be like that. You wanted to help others like us."

"Yes but a school? For all we know, we could be the only ones who time travel." Jonas replied. Knock! Knock!

"Come in!" Oliver yelled to the door. Through the door walked one of the crewmates and teenagers. "I thought I told yer I was not to be disturbed!" The female teenager looked frightened, whereas the male teenager didn't look alarmed. Jonas saw the scared look on her face.

"Oliver calm yourself, can't you see the poor girl is petrified." Jonas reprimanded his brother. The crewmate looked down ashamed.

"Sorry Cap'tin. They appeared from the skies. They were in err need to err talk to yer. Cap'tin, sir." The stupid crewmate stuttered. Jonas looked away from the girl,

"The skies you say?" He questioned curious. Oliver looked at the teenagers, who hadn't said a word.

"Ay sir, the skies." The crewmate answered amazed.

"Go!" Oliver ordered. The man scurried out from the cabin, "Now what do you two want and who are you?" The girl eyes widened, she reached out for the boy.

"We were sent here." The boy answered. "I am..."

"Sent here by whom?" Jonas enquired, with a raised brow. "Anybody we know?"

"Nobody you know sir, where we come from your not alive. Neither of you are." The boy replied. The girl stepped forwards and decided to talk,

"Mr and Mr Herron we need your help. We need your help to travel to different centuries."
