Finnally Showing My True Colors

Wade Jinx

  I hear the alarm clock go off ,as it does every morning, letting me know that's its time to wake up and face another horrible day. I get out of bed hitting the alarm and getting some cloths ready to take a shower for school. After my shower I walk down stairs to see if my moms awake, and of course, she's not. Which means I have to make my own breakfast and be late for school. Joy. As im done eating I check the clock, and how'd I guess it im late. Which means I get to drive myself to school.

    As I enter the parking lot to the school I see my "favorite" person getting his ass kicked. I pull into a space, that I finally found after what felt like forever, and get out of my car walking past him trying to pretend I don't see him getting fucked up. "Wade!" I hear my name called as I walk by them. To my surprise I see Mazie Row running towards me, well its not really a surprise she tends to get herself mixed up in these situations and of course, just like every year, all ways has some guy get her out of them, and this years lucky winner just so happens to be Vince Locke.  " Wade, please you have to help him." "He looks like he's doing fine on his own." I say this watching as he gets punched in the gut and thrown to the ground as all the guys start kicking him repeatedly. I start to walk again and she yells my name once more. "Wade! Please!" "Sorry, but I was told that if I get into anymore fights this year i'm going to get a mega beat down myself." "Fine i'll do it myself then." "Good luck with that." I say with a smile as I wait for her to do something. She just stands there for a few looking clueless, I know shes not going to do anything she never does. I get ready to turn around and leave but that was before I saw her charge the three guys and start punching one in the back over and over again. The guy she was punching turns around and pushes her to the ground saying "Your next bitch, so wait your turn." I of course did not like what he did and my rage took over. "I don't think so dick." I say to the guy, who I could tell was already scared by the looks of me. "If you know whats good for you I suggest you get your ass out of here." The dude just stands there for a moment, then I start stepping forward, and he runs off leaving his two friends behind, which are still beating up Vince. I grab one by the back of his shirt and fling him backwards, him hitting the ground. The other guy turns around ready to beat someone up again but as he did I punched him one good time in the jaw and knocked him out. As for the other guy, he jumped on my back trying to get me on the ground, I flung him over my shoulder and slam him on the ground, which must have knocked the wind out of him because he was holding his stomach. I turn around to see Mazie all over Vince babying him. " Vince, are you all right? I'm so sorry that this happened. Can you move?" Yeah, I think so.". He tries to get up but fails to attempted it. So freaking useless I swear. " Thank you Wade." he says all weak like. "Whatever." I say starting to walk away. "Wade, help me take him to the nurses office." "No, this is the part were you come in and actually be helpful for once, and I don't want to be late for class. You got me in enough trouble already."  "Please." she starts to cry. I look Vince up and down to see how hurt he was. Then I look at Mazie. "Fine." I say picking him up and dragging him to the nurses 

 I walk through the hall with one of Vince's arms over my shoulder and Mazie with the other. As we are walking I see that people are a little wary today. "What's with everyone today?"  I look at Mazie and she just gives me a look and shrugs her shoulders. We make it to the nurses and sit him down on one of the beds. One of the nurses comes in and looks at me with confusion because I'm known for sending kids here a lot . "Its all right, I'm not the cause of it this time." The nurse just looks at me with one of her eyebrows up and gives me a look like "yeah sure you didn't". "Thanks for the help Wade." "Sure, but why were they beating him up? Was this one of your doings again?" "No." she says with a look of worry on her face." "Then what was it?" "Well...it was...because he's, um....he's...well-" "I'm gay." Vince says so blankly. "They were kicking my ass because they thought it would be funny and cool to bash the gay guy." He starts to cry a little. " I don't know how they found out about it but they did." I look at Mazie, who quickly looks away. I'm still looking at her when she turns back around and I give her an are you fucking kidding me look. She just rolls her eyes at me and looks back at Vince. "Well, I'm glad your okay. i'll see ya later." I turn around and start walking down the hall and that sentence he just said keeps playing in my mind. I didn't expect him to be gay I mean he's always with Mazie. So I guess I thought they were together. Well that settles my mind a bit. I get ready to walk into class when one of the principals taps me on the shoulder. "Mr. Jinx?" "Yes?" I say with a cocky smile on my face knowing that I was going to get in trouble. "To my office. Now." I just roll my eyes and walk to the poor guys office with people staring at me and now whispering. And once again i'm the talk of the school. Joy.
