Naoki's P.O.V.
Pretty soon after the whole incident with the computer, I decided to retire to the comfort of my bed. Or what I hoped would be comfort.
Once I enter the room Nana was already curled up beneath her duvet, a pile of her clothes and her thin red glasses on the floor besides her; all sat upon her favourite red scarf.
Seeing this I smiled, and only tried to make my manoeuvre as quiet and delicate as possible. I crept with precaution over to the far side of the bunk bed near the window, and slowly began to climb the ladder. The wood of both the bed, and the ladder creaked occasionally in reaction to my movements. The small sound of shifting was heard as Nana rolled over, groaning in rebellion to this disturbance.
I stood still briefly, now being half way up and waited for her to settle once again. This seemed to take mere moments, so I took the opportunity to throw my self onto the top bunk, making a little more noise than intended in the process.
"...Naoki..." A small murmur, in a slightly irritated tone, then emitted from Nana below. My less graceful landing obviously being more of a disturbance than intended. I didn't reply, trying to play off the blame and just let her fall back to sleep. As hoped, it took a few seconds before new found silence, with the sound of light breathing, filled the room.
It took seconds for me to fall asleep once I was comfortable, and so the night passed by quickly.
I awoke slowly to the gentle sound of rain, as it gently tapped against the window. I slowly forced my eyes open, but my vision was still blurred.
I raised my arms up and gently placed my hands over my eyes, attempting to rub away the blur. I gradually pushed my hands back; they slowly ran across my forehead as my fingers began to run through my hair.
I let out a yawn as I gently reached my hand down, and delved it into my pocket. I slowly retrieved my phone and lifted it into my vision. I gently pressed the button, the glaring light automatically causing me to squint. Eventually, as my eyes slowly adjusted to the light I was gradually able to make out the time. "7:23"
In seeing the time I sighed and rolled my eyes, placing the phone back into my pocket. I knew it was useless trying to fall back to sleep, I'm the type of person who can't do that after waking the first time.
I slowly placed my hands flat against the bed, pushing myself up. As I did this, the very top of my head lightly skimmed the ceiling but didn't quite catch.
"Nana..?" I called lazily in an attempt to see if she was awake. A groan of disapproval was all that was heard in response.
I gently stretched my arms out in front of me, closing my eyes tightly and attempting to stretch my whole body while continuing to stay sat up right.
Soon after, I decided to finally get out of bed, and climbed down the ladder of the bunk. Once I had reached the floor I looked down to observe Nana. She was curled up tightly into a ball with the duvet rapped around her. I snickered a little towards this, before sitting down beside her on her bed.
"Nana... Come on.." I requested in a soft tone, gently nudging her as I did so.
"Naoki...." Her tone gradually grew irritated as I persisted in waking her up. However I just continued to nudge her. She soon began to seem to growl before sitting up abruptly and glaring at me. Her hair was all messed up, and her eyes look around half open.
"What time is it?" She questioned quietly, raising one hand up and gently rubbing her eyes.
"It's getting on for 7:30" I coughed after saying this, and just smiling after. Nana just continued to glare at me before rolling her eyes and sighing.
