So, bold is author notes. An this Chapter will be in third person but the rest will not be. The next three chapters will be based on fourth ,fifth and sixth grade for Amanda. Then the next chapter will be "present time in the story". This chapter will be what basically happened when the family moved and what happen when they did. Amanda Green a girl born in Texas had a simple life. She was ten years old.She lived on a farm with her older extremely protective brother Brandon who was 15. She also had a older sister who was 18. Her name was Opal. The whole family had thick southern drawls. Except her mom who was born in New Hampshire. They all had horses and only Opal and her Mom where the only girlie girls in the family. Amanda played acoustic guitar and wore jeans and cowboy boots. She was very happy until... She came home one day. She got off the bus on Brandon's shoulder laughing and trying to get down. They walked inside to Opal crying and her parents looked sad. They sat down and their parent told them the horrible news. They were moving to a town with 500 people in it , called Smallsboro. As soon as Amanda found out she ran outside and grabbed her horse and jumped on. She rode down to the lake and tied her horse up. She sat down on the ground and started crying and she heard footsteps. She looked up and it was Brandon. He picked her up,sat down and put her on his lap. She told him to never leave and he promised he wouldn't. She would learn soon that he wasn't the best person at keeping promises. A few days later they packed up and headed to the airport to Smallsboro. And Amanda's grandfather moved into their old house and took care of the farm. Everyone was sad but things were about to get a lot worse.
Sorry this was short but it was just some background junk. Next chapter will be a whole big summary of fourth grade for Amanda. It will be in first person. Please comment and vote!
