So it's the night before the first day of 7th grade. Woohooo!!! So here we go...
Me and Lori hung out all summer. If you are wondering I still haven't  told anyone about the past. I really hope I don't see Mr. Van because he said he was going to put me in a situation that made me tell everyone. He emails me everyday and in the middle of the nighty saying "Tell them!!!!" I am never telling them. Oh and me and Jack are like so close. He is playing modified basketball this year and he said I have to go to every home game and wear his jersey. I said of course. Lori keeps saying he likes me. He doesn't,we are just best best friends.
I am never dating him. Oh should I mention he is dating Carol. When she first made fun of me I remember him hugging me and rubbing my back. Last year she ran down the hall saying "Amanda's a whore" over and over. I remember him being like three inches taller than me and my head in his shoulder and I was crying. Now he is dating her. I went to his house and no one was home and he said "I have to tell you something and don't scream." I grabbed his arms and said "I never scream. He said"I am dating Carol" I screamed so loud "what you are dating the witch would bullies me. For the past two weeks she has been texting me from a blocked number. Telling me to stay the hell away from you. She said I can not go near you. Wait you have been dating her for three weeks!!!" I screamed the last part at the top of my lungs, I pushed him to the ground before he could say anything. I pushed him down and he said "hey Hun calm down" I said "excuse you have a girlfriend don't Hun me.i am leaving!!" I walked out and slammed the door. We haven't talk since. But whatever
~~First day of 7th grade~~
I walk into school with my arm around Lori's shoulder laughing. I say to her "We better not have Mr. Van, he threatened to move to seventh grade." She said "I don't mind him actually." I said while we were walking by the lockers "Here is mine. See you first period" she walked away and I looked at my schedule. It said "First Period Mr. Van. I said darn under my breath and dropped my schedule and I was about to pick it up but some like 5' 9'' guy picked it up. He was way taller than me I was only 5'4''. The boy picked it up and said "Here you go hun." I said "omg" finally realizing who it was. I said "Jack it's you, your so tall." I am pretty sure I just basically checked him out. He said "you still have the pen I gave last year?" I said "yup" while putting it in his hand. He said "Do you know where Mr Vans class is? I can't believe we have him again!" I said "I will show you where it is if you give me my pen back." He said "okay" and handed me my pen. I grabbed his hand and dragged him to class. I asked on our way there "so you dating Carol still?" He said "no we broke up three weeks ago. She cheated on me with John. I hate him so much,not just because he was dating my girl but he is just such a beep." So for you people, John is such a beep, he fights with everyone. I have wanted to choke him more times than you would believe.
I said "Yeah I hate him to, I have always wanted to choke him. Or kick him were the sun don't shine." Jack said "I never knew you could be so bad"  I said "I am not a bad girl I am goody two shoes you know that. But I can get pissed off and when you piss me off you better run." We found the class and took our seats, I saw Lori and sat next to her. Jack went and sat on the other side of the classroom. The first thing out if Lori's mouth was "So i see you met back up with you lover. You guys finally started talking again,everything didn't feel right when you didn't talk." I said "Yeah I guess I missed him and he isn't my lover" I rolled my eyes. The bell rang signaling to be quiet and listen to your teacher. Mr. Van comes in and says "Hello my former insane students. This is going to be a fun year I have some insane ideas to help you learn" I raised my hand and said "What is it, I am scared." He said "so as you know I have everyone's email, and at any time during this year I am going to email you telling you to go somewhere and do something crazy." We all groaned and I knew what was going to happen. I said "Mr Van can I talk to you outside?" He said "yes" we walked outside, " I know what you are thinking hand you better not make me tell them about everything." I said. He said "oh never!!" I walked back in and slumped in my chair. The bell rang soon. We headed to our next class which was simple.
~~Last Period~~
I have last period in the library and so does everyone but three people in my class. We are allowed to listen to music. I plug my headphones in and sit on one of the couch things. I am listening to Hello by Adele(Anyone remember) it is the best song ever. I can imagine me singing it to my brother Brandon. But whatever. I close my eyes and I feel someone next to me. I open my eyes and look next to me ,it's Jack. I take my ear buds out and say "Hi" he says "hi" back. I grab his phone and put his password in. That's right he never changed it so I could always get on it. I looked on it and opened his camera app. I took a selfie and made it his background. He was laughing the whole time. I handed him his phone and said "here you go, I like your background." He said "thanks" while smirking. I said kinda nervously "is there any chance we could hang out tonight?" He said "Of course, there is always time for my pumpkin." He touched my nose and I blushed. He always used to do that. So did Brandon. Stop thinking about him Amanda he left,what the heck. "Amanda hello earth to pumpkin" he said while waving his hand in my face. I said "Sorry just think too much" The bell was about to go off and I said "Can I ride the bus to your house and then can we do something?" He said "Yup" He grabbed my hand and pulled me to the door to wait. We got to the door and he didn't let go. I said "So..." I was interrupted by the bell. We walked out hand in hand. I felt tingles go up my spine. He always held my hand but when I didn't talk to him because we fought I missed holding his hand. We walked and got on the bus. We sat in the last seat. He let me have the window seat because he knows I love to look out the window. I took my phone out and started playing Flappy Bird. Jack then said "So,mom is going to be home..so she is probably going to be really happy your coming over because she said she missed you." I said "That's sweet when I saw her at your games she always said she hated Carol and liked it better when we hung out. Sometimes she even said are you dating?" He looked shocked at the last part "Yup she loves you" he coos. He does that corny yawn thing and put his arm over my shoulder. I looked up at him and said "That was so cheesy!" "I know." He replied. I said "So I heard you guys have a game in two days?" He said "Yup it is in some town five hours away." "Oh so who is your date going to be for the thing after." He said "Well the person would have to ride the bus and I was thinking since you like to watch my games and look out the window you would go with me?" I said "Really Omg that would be so cool. So I get to wear your jersey." I was smiling so bright. He said "Of course I have to give you my one form this year I got a new number. It is gonna be big on you" I said "I don't care. Oh our stop is next." I pushed him off me and he got up. I grabbed my stuff and walked behind him. We were off the bus and started walking to the door. We went in and I put my stuff where I always used to put it. I walked in and just so you know Jacks mom lets me call her mom. I walk into the kitchen quietly and whisper to Jack be quiet. I walk in and say "What's for dinner Ma" He turns and drops the chopped peppers she was holding and screeches "Amanda" I open my arms and she comes and hugs me. She say "I missed you and I never liked that Carol and I am so glad you made up with Jack." I said "Thanks I missed you to mom" Jack came and stood by us and said "we are going out later and we are going to my room and guess what?" His mom replied "What?!" He said "Amanda is going to be my date to the special game tomorrow." He grabbed my hand and his mom said "That's great have fun in your room and later. I am spending the night at my sister's house with dad,no funny business." I blushed and looked down. Jack said "Mom you made it awkward just go love you" We said by and walked upstairs. I flopped on Jacks bed and said "So what you wanna do?" He said "Math I have to finish so do you before we go anywhere." I said "oh come on we are both straight A students can't we wait till after." He said "No we need to finish math. Have you even looked at what we have to do." He made this face as if he was about to break my heart. Oh no😵 "Please don't tell me it's..." "Yes I am sorry it's geometry." He whispered. He flopped on the bed right next to me and said "So remember how you shoved me to the ground when I told you I was dating..." I slapped my hand over his mouth crawled on his stomach and said "Do not say her name!" I uncovered his mouth and he put his hands on my waist. "Sorry" he cooed. I tried to get off him but he wouldn't let me. I put my hands on his checks and said "Let me go. I must be squishing you."
"Nope your not" I put my hands on his and pried them off me and pinned them above his head. "Not so fast" he said while flipping me so he was on top of me. He pinned my hands above my head and was doing push up over me. I was blushing so hard and could barely talk. I mumbled out "So how about that math homework." He said "no" all the sudden we are on the the floor rolling around screaming. I finally get free me run downstairs I lay on the couch out of breath and all the sudden Jack jumps on the couch sits on me and says "You must listen to me." I say "In your dreams"
" what if King Jackmakes you listen?" I said "How the heck would you do that!"
"Let's see I know what makes you week in the knees."
Omg that is one of the downsides of having a best friend who is a guy he can find out how to turn you on and make you weak in the knees in four mins. I said "Do not." He said "I am going to tickle you if you don't say I am the almighty  King"
"No I am not going to say that Jack"
"Yes Amanda or you get tickled your choice!"
I give up I would rather  kiss him than get tickled.
"Fine fine you are the ALMIGHTY KING! Happy?" He got off me and said "yup now math homework."
I groaned. I saw a picture on the wall of a baby. Omg is that Jack I had never noticed it before. I said "Omg this is you. You were so cute." I went over to him as he groaned and pinched his checks.
"Yes I was cute still am" I said "whatever makes you sleep at night bud" i got my homework and starting doing it. I was done in five minutes. I put it away  and Jack was putting his away to.
"What do you wanna do Amanda?"
"Can we go to the park and get ice cream from that truck?" I said
He said "hi but don't bring money I will pay." I said "no" while pulling out my wallet. He said "I will win"
I said "whatever" I grabbed his hand dragged him outside. I interlocked my fingers with his and we started walking to the park it was only ten minutes away. We got there and got our ice cream. I ended up paying for mine and rubbing in his face that I won. We sat on a bench and some guy was playing the guitar. I told myself not to cry. I missed playing guitar. I grabbed my purse and said to Jack "be right back" he said "okay" I got up and walked over the the person playing opened their case which was on the ground and put ten dollars in. The person stopped playing and said "thanks" I waved and walked away. I sat back done on the bench and Jack said "That was sweet"
I said "he was really good" Jack said "Do you like guitars?" I said "yeah they are really cool. I like acoustic not electric though." He said "oh"
I grabbed his hand and said "can we go back it is 6:45 and starting to get cold and I am in a dress!" He said "Omg your right you must be freezing." He pulled me up and took his jacket off. I said "no no you will freeze." He didn't even say anything he just took off his jacket and put it around me. I took in his scent. He was the only guy I our class who didn't use Axe. So you could tell it was him with your eyes closed because of his signature scent. We were walking and he said "Is it okay if I...um..put my arm around you?" I said "Of course,you will keep me warm!" He put his arm around me and I cuddled into his arm. We were soon at my house and he brought me to the door. I gave him a hug and kissed his cheek. My dad opened the door and stuck out his hand for Jack to shake. Jack said "Hi sir" my dad said "hi son,you didn't do anything to my daughter did you?" Jack said "No sir I would never hurt her." My dad said "You hurt her when you dated that other girl and you hurt her again i will hurt you." Jack nodded and said bye to me and my dad. He left and i went to my room. I opened my window and waved to Jack while screaming bye. He waved and was walking away but I noticed I still had his jacket on. I yelled "Jack you forgot your jacket!!!" He yelled "Keep it. Sleep tight" Then he blew a kiss at me.
I put pjs on and laid in bed. I slowly fell asleep.
