Lily Evans was going to be in her first year at Hogwarts. She was quite surprised when she first got her letter, but it explained all that had happened to her in the last two days. First of all, she did not recall herself having blue hair, but thats how she woke up one morning. Her hair went back to normal seven hours past when she woke up, but it wasn't quick enough to change back before she got to her school.

Two boys were chasing after her all day at school, and she didn't understand why. By the end of the day, she understood. They had cornered her at the end of the day in an alley, of course, before her hair had changed back to its red, fiery state. She was shaking madly when they approached her.

"Whats with the sudden change of hair color, Evans?" Spoke the slightly smaller one of the two. "Got self-conscious of your ginger hair?" The larger one had sneered. Before any of them knew it, they were flying backwards onto the roof of the nearest building. Lily just stood there, and then she ran away, searching frantically for Petunia.

"Tuney! Tuney!" Lily cried as she reached the front of her school. "Where have you been Lils?", Petunia asked. Petunia's face was as white as chalk. "I saw those two horrid boys back you into that alley, I was so worried!", Petunia cried. The two of them hugged and they walked home.

"Hi Mum! Hi Dad! We're home!" The two of them said in unison. "Hello you two! We were wondering where you both went! By the way Lily, you have a letter...The senders wrote what room you sleep in, isn't that odd?", Lavender Evans had said. "Thanks Mum, pass it here please.", Lily had said politely. Lily looked at the letter slowly. Sure enough, there was her room written right on the envelope. Lily opened the letter eagerly, and looked at the parchment. The letter had said:

~~Dear Miss Evans,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The necessary items for the year are a list on the separate piece of parchment. Your tickets should be in the envelope, and you shall be dropped off at Kings Cross Station on September 1. The border for platform 9 3/4 will close at 11:00 am. We await your owl no later than July 31.

Sincerely,

Assistant headmistress

Minerva Mcgonagall~~

Lily was shocked, surprised, but she had known she was different all along. She was startled to see an owl sitting on the windowsill. She knew that she had to accept, to reply, so she quickly scribbled out a response on a new parchment. Lily then quickly ran out of the house with Petunia, and they ran to their favorite tree on a hill by a lake. They were sitting on the edge of their hill, and Lily was talking about going to her new school and being a witch. "I don't care about your stupid school, you're just a freak!" Petunia shrieked. Petunia was obviously jealous. Lily was taken aback by the comment, expecting her sister to be supportive of her, and stepped back a bit. Lily hadn't seen the the boy with the greasy black hair step out from behind the tree, Petunia had. Petunia had stepped back so much, she tripped on a root from another tree. "I'm gonna tell Mum, Lily! You're just a freak!" Petunia shouted.

Lily turned around and was surprised to see the boy with greasy black hair. "Hello. I'm Severus Snape." The boy had said, feeling awkward. He wasn't one to be nosy, but he saw the red-haired girl, and he had to watch. She was just so utterly beautiful. She apparently was named Lily, a very elegant name. Severus thought she was absolutely perfect. "Umm...hello. You didn't happen to see my sister's rude way of supporting me, did you?" Lily asked, playing with a piece of her hair awkwardly. "Supporting you for what?" Severus asked curiously, not intending to sound nosy. "Well, would you like to see something?" Lily asked slowly and hesitantly. Severus nodded eagerly. Lily then turned and faced a little form of a tree, a tree that had not grown fully yet. She waved her hands over it, and it instantly formed into a full grown tree. "You're a witch," he said. Lily nodded. He grinned and said, "Well, I'm going to Hogwarts too, because I'm a wizard."

~~~Second Year~~~~~
Lily was in potions after a very long week. She had to deal with James Potter pursuing her, homework, and she had to study. The thing that took the most time was dealing with Potter. He would pretty much stalk her just to ask her out, but there was things she'd never admit to anyone. One thing for sure, James Potter was handsome. He was handsome, and very charming. But he was a downright git. Lily was too lost in her thoughts, and then she realized she was still in potions.
