Sherly looked at Drake and said "so what's your question?"
Drake took a deep breath and said "what would someone have to do to court you?"
Sherly's shocked, "Well, I don't like getting gifts or anything like that. I would want to feel the love not be bought by gifts." She smiled.
"Oh okay. Thanks" Drake said
The two of them walked out of the house and unto the sideway.
"Btw, why did you ask that?" Sherly said, thinking about Drake's question.
"It's nothing. I just want to court someone." He said.
Sherly really wanted to know who it was so she asked,"who is it? Who is it? Tell me!"
"Chill!! I'm still not sure if she likes me back." Drake said
"But why don't you try and see if she can be courted or not. If she says no, then just find and look for another girl." Sherly said, feeling jealous because she liked Drake.
"What if she says yes?" He asked
"Do your plan and she will probably say yes then you can be her boyfriend", Sherly said and then stopped, "so who is she?"
"Someone. Don't worry. I'll tell you one day" he responded.
"Okay. If you say so", she said,still feeling jealous.
When they got to school, Sherly wanted to ask Drake about the girl that he liked.
"Drake can I talk to you?" He nodded "privately please."
"Sure"
"It's about the girl. If you're not going to tell me who it is, then can you describe her for me?" Sherly said, batting her eyelashes.
"Okay. She's filipino, has black hair, did dark eyes. Her skin is a light brown. She's really cute and pretty." He said with a small smile on his face.
"Okay thanks. I'm just curious" Sherly said
"Why?"
"It's just nothing. Dwbi"
The two walks back to their friends after they were done talking. Marj and Reymark looked at each other.
"What was that about?"
"What about?" Sherly and Drake asked
"About the thing." They answered
"What's thing?" They asked again
"The private question" Marj said
"We can't tell" Sherly said
"Why?" Lexie asked
"Because it's private" Drake said
"Fine. But someday I'll find out. Trust me"
"Okay. Can I talk to you Marj?" Sherly asked
"Sure gyal"
Sherly and Marj want to talk at the corner
"Okay so Drake is trying to court someone" Sherly said
"And?"
"Do you want to hear the truth?"
"Yup, not the lie." Marj replied
