Blake's POV
"Dude, why do you and your sister hate each other?" Max asks whole we're walking to lunch
"Because she's my sister. We're two completely different people!" I exclaim
"I still don't understand why you guys hate each other like ALL the time!" He says
"Max, we've been through this." I say annoyed
"I just don't see what it hurts to be nice to her every once in a while..." He says
I scoff.
"I'll be nice to her when she is nice to me." I say
That's where the conversations ends.
We walk into the lunch room and head for the lunch line.
"Blake!" I hear a voice call out
Turning around I see Laurie Crawford walking towards me.
I mentally groan in annoyance.
"What do you want Laurie?" I ask annoyed
"Well I just wanted to know if you wanted to-" she begins to say in her annoying high-pitched voice
"No." I cut her off
"You don't even know what I was going to say..." She says smiling to hide her anger
"What ever it is, the answer is no." I say
I hear Max snicker from behind me.
"Ugh! You are such a jerk!" She says and storms off
I turn to Max and he high-fives me.
We start laughing.
"Dude that was awesome! You totally just blew the Laurie Crawford off!" He says
I'm about to respond but I'm interrupted.
"You guys are so immature." Jade says from behind me
Her and her friend Kay are looking at us annoyed.
"Oh yeah well you're...I got nothin." Max says
Jade smirks.
"That's what I thought." She says
I just glare at her.
"Now if you'll excuse me, you're holding up the line." She says, still smirking
Shaking my head, I look at Max, telling him to move up.
Jade's POV
"I just don't understand why you guys hate each other so much." Kay says, quietly so Blake doesn't hear us
"Kay, we've been through this. I don't talk to him, and he doesn't talk to me. End of story, the end, happy ever after." I say, frustrated
"Ugh, you guys are so frustrating!" She exclaims loudly, slapping her hand over her mouth afterwards
I face-palm as Blake and Max turn to look at us.
"Um, I mean, ugh it's so frustrating that we have stupid, disgusting ribs every Monday!" Kay exclaims dramatically, trying to cover up
Blake and Max turn around after giving us a weird glance.
Kay sticks her tongue out at their backs.
"They're so judge mental." She says, crossing her arms
"Who cares." I say, grabbing a lunch tray
"I do! I hate it when people judge me." She says, grabbing a tray also
"I do too but when it's my brother and his stupid friend, I could care less what they think." I say with a shrug, grabbing a slice of pizza.
She shrugs and does the same, and we head out of the lunch line.
Walking over to our usual lunch table, our other friends look at us and smile.
At least some people accept us...
Blake's POV
After Lunch i have Spanish and as i'm sitting there i look over to Laurie who is looking at me with eyes that scream pure determination, Laurie has been trying to get me to go out with her since 6th grade and she has never come close.
"Alright class listen up!" Says Mrs. Griffin quite loudly.
"You guys will have a quiz next Monday and i must say that this quiz will be very hard i made sure of it, so make sure to study your study guides and read the culture" she says right after.
I stare off into space as Mrs. Griffin nags on about the quiz and what not. I look up at Laurie and she is still staring at me with the eyes, I look at her with my coldest stare and she looks away hurt.
After Spanish i have World History with Max and Jade... ugh. I personally don't mind Jade but her attitude is ridiculous. And don't get me started on her friend Kay 'Ohhh i don't like when people judge me i want everyone to like me just the way i am!' She needs to calm down and not worry 'bout what people think of her and stay just the way her beautiful self is, wait what did i just say? Oh ma-
ERR ERR ERR The loud sound of the fire alarm sounds. Wait we weren't scheduled for a fire drill......
"Students and staff this is not a drill i repeat this is not a drill! We have reports of nuclear missiles being fired from Russia over to Canada and The United States." The principal yells over the intercom.
Wait what? Nuclear missiles? Oh god i gotta find Jade and Max.....
