Ghouls Are Following

chapter 2

I woke up to the sun in my face. Today was day I was gonna read in Anteiku with Kaneki. I got out of bed and put on a blue sweater and black jeans. I brushed my long black hair didn't put any make up on. I didn't usually ware markup because I look scary with it. I slipped on my vans and walked out the door with my purse and Mangas. Anteiku wasn't far so I decided to walk.

I walked I'm and looked around. Kaneki was sitting at one of the tables reading. He glanced up from his book and saw me. He kept staring at me and blushing. He almost drooled. I blushed and made a small wave. Then I watched his eyes follow toward a lady with purple long purple hair and a dress. He didn't see me so I hid somewhere. Hide pushed him and told him to go talk to her. He got up from his chair and went to talk to her.

Kaneki came back to hide. I tried hard to listen in ro wjat he was saying. "Dude I got a date with her." Kaneki said. I felt tears running down my face. I backed up and tripped on something. Kaneki looked up and saw me sitting on the ground with tears. Kaneki stood up and started walking towards me. I got up and ran out of the coffee shop. Leaving my books there.

Kaneki's POV

I want sure about this date. I didn't want to date this girl anyways. Hide is making me though. Meanwhile I'm here sitting here woth my date. When I want to be sitting with Toni. She must hate me. I'm too scared to text her. I will though after my date. "Can you walk me home please. I'm scared to go alone." Mrs. Rize said. "Um ok." I said.

We got to a train station. "Listen Kaneki I noticed that you have watched me. And I have been watching you too." She said. A few seconds later I felt the worst pain possible. She bit ny shoulder. Mrs. Rize is a ghoul.

I woke up in a hospital bed. With Toni beside me. She had tears running down her face. I widened my eyes. "What's wrong." I aksed. "I saw you with the other girl and ran home thinking that you wouldn't ever want to see me again. A day later I get a call from Hide saying your badly hurt and in the hospital. I was so scarred. This is all my fault." She said putting my hands on my face. "It's ok." I said touching her cheeks and drying her tears. He sat up in the bed and hugged me tightly. "It's never liked her." Kaneki said. "W-what." She said. "Hide made me date her." I said. She looked up at me and smiled. "I like you though. I always have. At school I have always watched you. And when I saw you at the bookstore. I was so happy." I said. "I like you too." She said blushing. She hugged me tighter.

"can I sleep at your place tonight to make sure that your ok?" She asked. "Of coarse." I said blushing. We both left the hospital. We got into the cab and drove towards my house. When we walked in the door I heard my stomach grumble. I was gonna eat after she fell asleep.

"Hay you wanna watch a movie?" I asked. "Yah which one?" She asked. "Totoro?" I said. "Yah I love that one she said. I put it in the player and it turned on. After a few hours of watching movies she started to fall asleep. "You can sleep in my bed and I'll sleep on the couch." I said. "Alright I'm gonna sleep. Sleep good." She said. "You too." I said.

I got up and went to the fridge a.d grabbed a steak burger. The microwave heated it up. I took it out of the microwave and took a bite. Immediately I gagged it out of my mouth. I heard the TV talking about Ghoul's having a different taste. I quikly grabbed other foods out of the fridge and ate it. I couldn't bare it. I looked in my mirror and saw a Ghoul's eye. "What am I?" I said. I'm not human. I'm not a ghoul. What will Toni think of me. She can't ever find out. I'm sorry Toni.
