Walking alone in the night is a normal thing to you. You would always walk alone to have some fresh air or just enjoying the city lights. You stared at the busy streets as you sat down at a park bench, drinking some soda.

"Mind if I sit down?"

You heard someone say and just nodded. You turned to your right and saw someone close to your heart, Shintaro Kisaragi. He sighed and looked at the skies as he slowly closed his eyes.

"(Name)-chan..."

He uttered and you turned back to him, cocking your head to the side.

"Why is it Shintaro-kun?"

You asked, your monotone voice echoing through the dark streets.

"Why is the city lights so beautiful?"

He asked as he opened his eyes back and stared at the city lights.

"And why do you like to see them?"

He added. There was a momentary pause as you gave him a smile he haven't seen before.

"Because it is what they are."

A simple answer and a warm smile is what he only wanted and that made his whole world open. He had been judging people by their skills as most of his friends started to leave him because of his attitude. He didn't have a smart head, but he got no heart. That's why people looked at him as if he was the evil villain of the story. The only friend he got was Haruka, Takane, Ayano, and you. As you came into his life, it changed a little. Things that he didn't understand in life, you were the answer. You were his answer. In everything. You were his everything. You were the one who came to his darkest days. You were his light. Your answers, your smile, your beauty. It made him open up to things. You were the reason why he would cry on his bed, thinking what would happen if you were away. You may be silent but your simple answers are the things that make him all so strong. He would do anything just for you to stay with him. Tears trickle from his eyes as looked at the city lights, mesmerized by the beauty and lights it brings.

"(Name)..."

He stuttered at some words until he finally say something that you have been waiting for.

"I'm sorry..."

He half whispered it in the air as you looked at him, a smile spreading your features as the tears flooded from his eyes.

"I'm sorry if I judge you so much that I didn't notice your greatness. I'm sorry if I have to be mean at you. Sorry if I had hurt you so badly. I'm sorry if I was not the man you wanted to become..."

He cursed himself a hundred of times as the tears flow down fast. You held his hand and hugged him, letting you be his pillow. You patted his back as you sat at his lap, rocking back and forth as you hugged him close to you dearly.

"Shintaro-kun, Always remember I'm here for you and, I love you..."

You whispered to his ear, making him stop his sobbing and looked at you. He then slowly closed the gap between you two, kissing you slowly and sweetly but passionately, and stayed like that for a while. After a moment of love, you parted and took a breath for air. You both had your foreheads leaning at each other as the other one broke the silence, answering.

"I love you too. I love you so much, you mean the world to me.."

Having to open the mind of someone from simple words mean something that someone cannot explain, but the one who understands it can explain it to others rightly. It was another of your days you had that can't be replaced. And you thanked the city lights for that.
