Nanami was at the store she overhears two women talking about the Shrine and claiming it was rundown and haunted, she gets upset and leaves the store. She meets up with Tomoe who was on a branch and Kazumi who is just standing in mid air since she can control wind. Nanami asks why he was up there?
He tells her he's debating whether to cut it down or not since it was already wrapping around the Torii Gate. Nanami tells Tomoe what the women had said and she decides to hold a festival. Tomoe declines the idea but Kazumi, the shrine spirits, and Mizuki seem to like the idea so he decides not to be a part of it.
While she passes out posters Mizuki and the shrine spirits clean the shrine, Kurama passes by and gives Nanami a gift for the festival, after, he tells her about the kagura dance that she has to do during the festival. Tomoe gives her the kimono she has to wear and puts it on her, after he sees her with the whole thing on, he tells her she looks very beautiful, and she starts to blush. Kazumi wishes he would bring a beautiful kimono for her.
After, Otohiko stops by and releases miasma into the air, testing whether Nanami and purify it. Nanami tried and tried but she couldn't do it . Kazumi tried to help her every time but it didn't work.
Tomoe and Mizuki find Nanami and Kazumi and take her and Kazumi to Nanami's room, and Tomoe says that she is to stay there. Kazumi disagreed with Tomoe, she thinks that Nanami can do it. Tomoe didn't want to fight with her but she just kept going on with them and how she saved a lot of people and helped you but that just made Tomoe so mad that just, " We don't need both of you. We don't need a human girl and a stupid earth yokai who left us for more than 500 years.!!!" He just looked at Kazumi surprised. She had her eyes wide opened. He didn't know what to do so he closed the door and helped out Mizuki.
When he left Kazumi just stood up and said, " fine, it seems like you don't need my anyway."Nanami tells Kazumi, " He's right to about me, I can't do anything right. I'm a failure. " she also stood. They pack ed there things and headed out.
Tomoe looked at the shrine and said, " Kazumi, Nanami?" He ran to Nanami's room but no one was there. Nanami was running away and Kazumi was going to her old house where she used to live. With Tomoe he quietly said, " where could you be..." Then instead of Nanamis name he yelled, " KAZUMI!!!!" 'Then a box in the shed filled with miasma rips open.
