Feelings

Previously: Tomoe felt something on his back and it was Kazumi snoring. He then automatically asked, " Kazumi, what is wrong?! She is asleep. Then he felt a knife toward him. It was Kirihito and he asked, " What is this woman to you?" Tomoe went back and saw that he was cut,, he licked his hand and said," So, this is a thanks I get for saving you?" Kirihito said, " This is hardly enough to repay you in full. But I'm tired, too. This will be as far as we go today. The he vanished. Tomoe said, " Shikigami, huh? Kotetsu asked, : Master Tomoe, who in the world was that man? Tomoe replied, " A paltry matter. Ignore him. We are going to the Grand Shrine." He then put a strand of hair away from Kazumi's face. He thought what Kirihito said about Kazumi, " Who is this woman to you?" Kotetsu asked, " Master Tomoe? What's the matter? He said, " No... It's nothing.

Nanami and the others are back at the Palace of the Gods where it is the 4th day of the Gathering of the Gods festival at Izumo but Tomoe has been imprisoned by Okuninushi for returning to his Yokai form. Okuninushi told Nanami to not see Tomoe but she did it anyway. Rather than be rescued by Nanami, Tomoe tells her he will decide if he will return to her service as her familiar. Nanami didn't know what to do so she just said with a happy smile. " Well, whatever you choose I hope your happy." Then she closed the door and she saw Kazumi there and she heard everything since Nanami left the door open. Kazumi didn't know what to do without Tomoe. What will happen to him? Nanami thought of a departing gift for Tomoe which was peach pills. She thought that Kazumi could deliver them because she hasn't said goodbye to Tomoe yet, Kazumi just nodded.

 After when she got the pills she went in where Tomoe where is. Tomoe looked at her and said, why are you here?" Nanami wanted me to give you these Peach pills for a departing gift." She placed the pills right next to him but he didn't want it but she didn't listen to him. She just walked away leaving Tomoe Alone. Magically Mizuki got into the prison where Tomoe is. Mizuki could tell that he had something on his mind. Mizuki asked, You have something on your mind, you can tell me. Either way I know you are thinking about Kazumi." Tomoe asks Mizuki if his feelings for Kazumi are a result of being her friend for over 400 year. He asked " what is she to me?" but Mizuki explains it's because Tomoe has romantic feelings for Kazumi. Tomoe made a surprize look on his face. He didn't know for sure how he felt so he went into Nanamis and Kazumis room to see Kazumi for himself.

When he got there he saw Kazumi sleeping. She was curled up in a ball since she had no covers so he ticked her in. Tomoe thought, " I have feeling for Kazumi, I have to touch her to know." When he touched her Kazumi said, " Tomoe, don't leave me again.I want to stay with you."  When he saw her say that and her face he leaned in and kissed her. When he turned around the sheets flew all over the place. She was again without covers so he tucked her in again. After that he just sat there and looked at Kazumi and left. He didn't want to tell his feelings in case she doesn't like him back. 

Tomoe is forgiven by Okuninushi after becoming Nanami's familiar again, and Nanami helps the other gods with their duties, and finally getting a chance to talk to Mikage again. She saw Kazumi talking to him. She asked Kazumi, " You know him?" Kazumi nodded. " We met when I was young before I moved." Nanami nodded and asked a question Nanami asked Mikage why she was put together with Tomoe, and Mikage explains he wants to rekindle Tomoe's concern for humanity through his interactions with Nanami. Nanami nodded. Kazumi was about to leave until Mikage said, " And you Kazumi I want you to help him learn about love and friendship." Kazumi nodded but was confused. Why her to. She's not a god or anyone special she's just a friend to Tomoe sadly. Kazumi wants to be more than just friends but she dares not tell for it is a secret incase he doesn't liker her back.
