They all laughed at me and pushed me to the ground, nobody cared, they were too afraid to become someone like me: A victim of bully.
I stayed strong, I didn't cut, I was too strong for that. But sometimes the strong ones has to fall to become stronger.
It was raining, a car drove by, I recognized the car, it was one of my bullies car.
I watched from a distance as it suddenly took a turn where a huge truck was just about to pass. I heard a long and loud 'honk' and the sound of metal colliding with another metal.
I ran towards the car, it was on fire. I carried my bully away from the accident along with the driver of the truck, I called 911 quickly afterwards.
Sounds of horns blaring, lights popped out at the end of the street, an ambulance stopped in front of us and quickly carried the two injured persons into the ambulance. They asked me questions which I answered in details, then they left me and I went home.
I had no school today. I went to the hospital.
I went into a room with bouquet of flowers on one hand and another holding a basket filled with fruits. I closed the door behind me silently.
I fixed the flowers on a vase and left the baskets of fruits on the tabletop. I left a note next to the vase. I stayed for awhile then left.
The next day, mom and dad had a fight, it was Sunday. I went to the hospital silently without shoes on. My neighborhood bullies raided me when I got home from the hospital yesterday. I had no more shoes.
I went into the room and tied my messy hair in a ponytail.
I cleaned the room, tightening up the curtains and replacing the vase with fresh flowers. I looked at my bully and he was still asleep. I stayed for awhile before writing a small note next to the vase filled with fresh flowers and then left.
Today was Monday, I got pushed, called names, but I stayed strong throughout the day. Someone threw my backpack in the pond and everything in it was wet, I left it there and walked home. It was raining again today, is it crying for my sake?
I went to the nearby park, my clothes clinging heavily to me because of the rain, I picked some flowers and proceeded my way to the hospital nearby my neighborhood.
I was greeted by the front desk person, asking why I was wet, I told her about the rain soaking me to the bones. She got worried, but I waved it off with a smile. I walked into the room of my bully.
I closed the curtains and placed new flowers on the vase. Writing a note with my slightly wet hands, wetting the paper slightly in the process, I left it there next to the vase. I stayed for awhile and left.
I went home with my father gone, my mom on the dining table with a bottle of wine in her hand, I walked upstairs and lay on my bed and stared blankly at the ceiling.
The next day, I didn't go to school, my body was beaten up with bruises and cuts and I had a fever from yesterday's rain. But I still went to the park to pick up flowers and taking them to the hospital. I sneaked out from the window, an accident occurred, which added to my bruises and cuts.
I staggered into the hospital, the front desk asked me if I was alright, if I need a check-up, or do I need a doctor. I smiled and shook my head, no.
I went into the room of my bully, staggering, I placed new flowers on the vase with a new note written placed next to it. I stayed for awhile then left. I was stopped shortly.
I looked forward and saw a nurse with a clipboard in her hand.
"He has been asking for the person leaving the flowers and notes."
The next day, Wednesday. Police rushed into my house with a bunch of medical people. I watched silently as they took away my mom, who was bleeding from her wrists.
I went to the hospital with newly picked flowers, the front desk greeted me and I went into my bully's room.
I placed the flowers on the vase and left a new note. I stopped by the doorway when a voice said, "It was you, wasn't it?" I continued walking after that.
By the time I got to the street a voice called out, "Wait, wait a minute!" I turned around and looked in front of me. It was my bully.
"Why?" He asked.
I turned around and walked away, it was nighttime already.
I heard hurried footsteps behind me, but I didn't look back, I knew it was him.
In the middle of the road, I heard a loud sound of a honk, turning around, lights crashed into me.
It was finally nighttime.
Hey, did you know? You're the one who made me feel like I'm something useless, but thanks to you...I became useful, I had a responsibility, thank you for at least making me feel needed, for the first time in my life, someone needed me. I'm grateful. Thank you...my bully.
