I never knew caring was such a bad thing. Labeling people who have high grades and who actually give a damn about there future, Nerds. My definition is someone who gets amazing grades, pays attention, takes the best notes, plans out their academic future, and wants the best for themselves so they can succeed. I'm not saying at any of these are a bad thing! This is a really good thing to be. But, usually Nerds are the one where bullying can be the worst, when they did absolutely nothing wrong. Just wrong place wrong time. Even though they may get bullied and walk away like they're fine, have you really thought about how they really feel? Probably not. Just wait to take a look into the words of Melvin Carter to watch his life unfold in unusual ways when he enrolls in a new school, and is the obvious outcast.......
