Saiyan Saga Goku!? He's weaker than the last two! How and why is he so high on the list!? I agree to it in terms of transformation, but as a character, he does a better job in my opinion.
5 years has past since the events of Dragon Ball, and lands a new threat to everyone known as Raditz. He claims to be a race of Saiyans, and a brother to Goku who wants him to join he and his comrades. Refusing the idea, Goku is overpowered, capturing the young innocent Gohan. Out of no where, the old enemy Piccolo appears and assists Goku into stopping the evil Saiyan.
The two arrives and has a beating from the Saiyan, while surprisingly weakened by the little Gohan, giving the two a chance to stop him, if it removes Goku from the picture. Going to get training from the legend master King Kai, Goku prepares his training for the more dangerous Saiyans. A year has passed, and the Z Warriors faces the Saiyans, and they fall as well.
Goku arrives on the scene to save Gohan, confronting and defeating Nappa with this Kaio-Ken technique. Killing Nappa, the Saiyan Vegeta fights Goku himself with Vegeta gaining the upper edge of a Kaio-Ken x2. Goku risking his chance goes up to Kaio-Ken x3, overpowering Vegeta. Having enough, Vegeta charges his Galick Gun, as Goku counters with a Kaio-Ken x3 Kamehameha. Being even, Goku pumps it up to Kaio-Ken x4, overing power Vegeta.
Vegeta grew angry, as he recovers and pulls a fake moon and transforms into a Giant Gorilla. Goku is overwhelmed, even with the Kaio-Ken, Goku with the help of his friends use the Spirit Bomb to distract Vegeta and sparing his life, taking his leave.
What else can I say? This is a truly epic moment. Possibility of one of the best, anime moments ever! Another bold claim, so yeah. This is a form of Goku I love. The dangerous situation, the amount of Character development, this is what you call an amazing turning point. Saiyan Saga Goku. Amazing!
Note: I know that you may not agree with me on this, but this is honestly how I feel. In terms of forms, Goku has a very tough list to go through. It's really a chore to do. But knowing me, I can get around it and find the best. Chapter 2 is next, you'll understand!
