Leah's POV.
"Wait mom I'm coming."I yelled as a grabbed my book-bag from the kitchen, along with an apple. I ran out of the house and into my mom's old truck.
"You're going to have to find different jobs in the future if you continue to be so damn late!" my mother snaps as she pulled out of the driveway and onto the busy street.
Early in the morning and she's criticizing me. How nice that's why I love her. I'm so sick of this, of her always talking crap about me. I rolled my eyes.
"Did you hear what I said? Or do you need your ears checked?" she asked as we neared the school.
See what I mean?
"Sorry, what did you say?"I asked looking at her.
"I said I'm going to be late tonight, order yourself a pizza or something." she said as she stopped in front of Richards High School.
You're always late, I thought.
"Are you ever early?"I asked as I looked at her.
"Honey, look I'm sorry work got me so busy and I have to work my ass off to get money." she sigh.
'Yeah right, you're working when you go to different men houses for them to use you." I said and instantly regretted it.
Her face was priceless. What? She thought I wouldn't find out.
"You little bitch!" she slapped me, right across the cheek.
I let out a yelp as I held my cheek, I turned to look at her, she tried to apologize but I was already getting out of the car.
"Leah, baby I'm sorry." she said getting out of the car.
I turned to look at her. I smiled a sad smile.
"Me too, I'm sorry I have a sorry excuse of a mother. One that cares only about herself." I cried.
I could see some of the talkative students surrounding us.
"Leah!."she called, her voice broke as tears streamed down her face.
"Leave me alone, I don't want anything to do with you mom." I shouted.
"I'm sorry, please you're my only child and I love you."she said.
By now everyone around us were videoing us and being what they usually be, nosey.
I laughed.
"You don't know what love is, you never loved me that's why you killed dad," I said as people gasped. "I'm not going to forgive you, leave me alone!" I yelled then pushed passed kids that stood in my way.
I ignored my mothers shouting and entered school.
