*Flash back*
"(F/N), can you take care of Romano while I am away?"
"Of course, Spain, anything for a friend."
"Thank you, it means a lot to me, I won't be gone long, just a couple of days. If I tell Romano bye he'll just end up following me to the battlefield and get himself hurt."
"I'll see you in a few day's, Spain."
*flash Back End*
"You, Jerk! Why are you here! Where is Spain?!" A angry Romano yelled, it turned out that when he had figured out that Spain left without saying goodbye it really angered him.
"Romano, please, calm down. Spain will be back in a few days." You tried to calm him down but that didn't work well. It caused him to get angrier.
"A few days?! That will feel like years! I want to help Spain!" Romano balled up his fists and started hitting your leg.
"Awe, Romano, do you love, Spain? I won't tell him if you do." You looked down at him and smiled.
"I-I do not!" Romano's face got red and he ran into Spain's house leaving you alone.
"Ahh... I'm sure he just needs some time alone."
*Time Skip*
You had made your way to Romano's room after a few hours to check on him. You softly knock on his door and listened for a response.
" Leave-a me-a alone, you jerk!"
His accent is so cute! You smiled to yourself. "Romano, are you ok?" You said learning your head on the door putting your ear up to it.
"No-a! I'm not-a ok! I want Spain, not you!"
"I'm coming in, Romano." You slowly opened the door to find Romano Laying on his bed with his head in his pillow...it almost sounded like he was....Crying?
You sat down next to him and started to rub his back.
"Romano, what is bothering you?" He slowly turned his head to look at you.
" I'm worried about Spain, and why wouldn't he say bye to me before he left." He started to cry even harder.
"Spain loves and cares for you, Romano. He wants to keep you safe, he would give his life for you." You picked him up and sat him on your lap, he placed his head on your chest and closed his eyes.
"Are you tired?" You whispered.
"Si." You could barely hear what he said and started to lay him back in his bed.
"Don't go, stay with me." He opened his eyes to look at you.
"Huh? You want me to sleep with you? Ok then!" You smiled and climbed into the bed next to him.
"Not so loud, I'm trying to sleep." He closes his eyes and puts his head back on your chest. You wrap your arms around him and put your chin on his head.
"Goodnight, Romano."
*2 Days later*
"Romano, want to go pick tomatoes with me?" You were outside with a brown woven basket in your hand. Romano was laying in a lounge chair under a umbrella drink who knows what.
"Si! Tomatoes are delicious and I want to eat some." He ran to you hand grabbed your free hand pulling you to the tomato plants.
You and Romano almost had the basket full when you heard a voice behind you.
"Romano, (F/N) I'm back!" Romano quickly turned around and looked at Spain, then at you. Romano wrapped his arms around your neck and kissed your cheek, this caused you to blush.
"Spain! I got a girlfriend!"
