My Angel (sock x reader)

Providence smiled, "Whose ready?"
You sighed as you and and another girl walked out of the room onto the clouds. You were picked for the annual demon angel switch. Or the ADAS as most refereed to it as. So basically it was something you did every decade or so. The people in he can were bored with everything being perfect all of the time and the demons missed the sun. So Providence and You think his name is Mephistopheles, decided to send two demons to Heaven and providence would send her highest Arc Angels for an all year round tip to Hell. This was a great honor but let's face it the Demons in Hell were brutal to work with. They were filled with bad qualities all you were there to do was lift their spirits. Surprisingly enough the times the Angels went down they treated them with the utter most respect and Hell changes its tune for a while. In Heaven the demons mix things up a bit and are still good but cause a bit of havoc, of course it always ended in laughter and joy but let's face it perfect is boring and the havoc brings back the light to people. You two had to test out your outfits before you have your speeches. You both walked gracefully around the surface your white cotton gowns laces with small slivers of gold. That went down a bit passed your knees. Your shoes were silver and gold flats that fixated on any surface so gently there was was no reason to float. Your wings cleaned and washed making sure every feather was dried so perfectly and a whit gold plate placed gently on the edges. Making sure to test the flexibility of your wings with the plates you both opened and raised them daintily swooping them down sending you about three meters off the ground. Then coming back down an fluffing them before returning them to their original position. The plate bent perfectly and caused no discomfort or imperfection. The last thing was your halo it was solid gold and hung your head in perfect symmetry. Your (h/l) (h/c) curled hair had crystals laying in it from a comfortable cloth headband that went under your hair. The crystals were shaped to perfection and make your hair glisten and shine. They moved with you bouncing curls and made you look even more stunning. You all wore white gloves that reached your elbows and had gold cuffs were they stopped. You felt bliss and beautiful. But it wasn't even close to how you looked, you were absolutely stunning radiant as the light from the sky shone down on you. No makeup was needed to enhance your already dashing features and you and your partner made it over to the path that would lead you to make your speech. As people waved and wished you both good luck you smiled and held your head high. You were to make your speech first and as you reached you beautiful cherry wood podium you spread your wings wide and the small area went silent. You gave humble smile and relaxed your wings.
"Good people of Heaven. As you know it has come that time again. Yes it's time for the ADAS! The crowed went wild and you spread you rings again to silence them.
"I know it is a big event and it is an honor to be picked. As most of you if not all know my name is (y/f/n) and I have moved up the ranks quite significantly over the past years. However I would have norms been able to without the helps of everyone in this room. You have given me positive thoughts and helped me through all of my training. So let's look forward to another successful three years of change and hope everyone makes it back safety."
They began to cheer and clap some more as you stepped off the podium so your partner could ale her speech and stood straight in respect near waiting. When she was done providence stepped up onto it and began to speak.
"This year will be the same as the last except our angels and Mephistopheles demons will be meeting after each day to discuss how it went and make plans for the following day."
The crowed cheered one last time as you and you and the other girl you were with walked past the pearly gates into the portal. It landed you right outside a door. A man was standing there with a smirk on his face.
"Hello girls." He said in a genuine happy tone.
"I thought you might want to see who will be taking your place this year. Meet my boys" he motioned to two young males one both dressed in black suites with bright red ties. They had devil tails with a point at the end and tattered bat wings. One caught your attention a little more however he had some pretty goofy hair and a red Russian winter hat in his hand.
"This is Sock he is a very high held demon and very kind." Boy gave a sheepish smile and blushed a bit before glancing at you. Mephistopheles then put a hand over the other kids shoulders "This is Maki......" You didn't listen to the rest and started taking mental pictures of the kid named Sock. You were snapped out of your stalker thoughts by your partner nudging you a bit.
"My names Litha and this is (y/n)." She said pointing to you you nodded and waved at the boys before both pairs switched sides. A flash came across all four of you and your dresses were now red laced with black leaving your gloves the only white left. As where the boys were now wearing white cotton suites and their ties staying the same. Your halos were now scorching hot to the touch. The boys wings now full and not torn. The four of you a little shocked stood there for a moment before retreating to your correct stations. You and Litha entered into a stage where you were each presented. The day dragged on with demons asking questions giving you compliments and mostly just having general regular conversation. When you finally got done you meet up with Litha and walked into the conference room with her. The boys had not arrived yet so you toe decided to sit and chat for a bit. When the boys finally arrived you could see how tired they looked. Maki began complaining to Sock and the rest of you about how it was that you and Litha looked so perfect after a literal day in hell and they came back looking like they went through an angry mob. You and Litha smiled trying to contain your laughter. While Sock decided to reply,
"Maybe that's because we did go through a mob. I mean causing everything from food fights to ring tosses with their halos gets a little tiering. Plus they are angels" he said moving his hands in our direction. "Aren't they meant to be beautiful?" Litha sent you a smirk and you grabbed the folder that was on the table to examine it. Maki sent a devilish grin towards sock as he said
"Well I know you think one of them is beautiful." Sock threw a glare at him and turned red. Before they anything got more skewed you pulled out two pieces of paper from the file and set them on the table.
"These the the activities you two did today yes?" The ones they did had little checks next to them. They noises and took the paper. You examined the one that went to you and Litha.
"These are the ones we did, so seeing the events you two went through wore you out, how about taking a slightly smaller approach like instead of doing big things just talk to people instead."
You pointed to a few activities that just included this and the boys nodded. After you decided what you two would do the next day the business parts were done. So Litha and Maki decided to take up their free time with some discussion you decided to look through the rules of the ADAS because you were curious. Sock sat across the table nervous looking and awkward. You realized you were ignoring him unintentionally and apologized. Looked up at you surprised.
"What?" You gave him an annoyed look
"I said I'm sorry."
"Sorry for what"
"I was ignoring you and I apologize. Oh come on I'm trying to be nice."
"Oh um I-I didn't even know you were ignoring me but uh it's fine. (Y/n) right?"
"Yeah and your sock?" He nodded
"Are you ok?" There's that confused look again.
"I mean you won't lol me in the eye and you look like a kid who just lost his dog."
"I'm fine just nervous."
"Why? There's no need to be I mean they've been doing this for a long time. All you gotta do is show the lovely people of Heaven a good time."
"It's no that, I'm not afraid of the ADAS."
"Then why are you nervous?"
"Um because I'm talking to you."
"Are you really afraid of me?"
"N....." Was all he could get out before Maki butted in.
"Hey genius he's not afraid of you he likes you."
Sock gave him a look that coils kill and elbowed him hard in the ribs. Your eyes got wide and you swallowed hard. You mouthed the word really and he nodded. After that you made a pretty good effort to get to know this boy. He to tried his hardest. Before you knew it half of the ADAS's were over. It wouldn't be long before you and Sock had to part ways. You tried to enjoy the time you had left but let's face it. You'd already fallen hard for this overt friendly psycho. He knew you had to and by the time the ADAS's did end the two of you stood crying in front of the portals that led you back to your rightful plains. Mephistopheles and providence had been watching this however and came to a pretty simple conclusion. Providence appeared in front of the two of you and wiped your tears away.
"Why are you two crying?" Your face flushed and you struggled to find an answer to say. Sock beat you to it.
"We don't really want to leave each other."
"This is because?" Providence asked you and Sock blurted out the same answers nearly on command.
"Because I love him/her!" You stood back a and held your mouth where did that come from you thought. You could tell Sock was thinking the same thing.
"Oh kids your so cute." Providence said
"However I need my arch angel." She looked at you and you Sock looked a the ground. Mephistopheles appeared and put a hand on Sock shoulder.
"And I need my demon."
You felt your eyes water.
"However there's a certain boy is like you to keep an eye on (y/n) he's a human and his names Jonathan."
Socks eyes widened and he smiled at the mention of the name."
"Oh well what a turn of events." Mephistopheles sad with a bit of sarcasm.
"Sock isn't that the human your tormenting?"
He nodded, both of you could see where this was going and you thanked your bosses. They nodded and you both of you were sent to the human world.

This turned out great for you two but Jonathan was now being pestered by two beings and became quite pissed. Poor Jonathan oh well can't he see its love! Jk that's the end bye!!!!
