I seriously didn't like that ending but I also thought it was cute and as I was done having an argument with myself the nurse lady called my name for my check up and I walked in with my mother.
The nurse lady was putting these weird things (yeah I know I've seen what they are but I still don't really know what they are) on like if I were wearing my regular glasses but she asked me which lens look better, clearer and did I mention better for my sight. Then when my mom asked the nurse lady if I'm getting any better, she took an awful long time. It was dead silent then interrupted with her asking my mother if herside of the family and or my fathers side were diabetics, cancer, and other bad stuff I can't remember but as the lady asked my mother all of them were. Yes.
My mother told me to go wait in the waiting room with my father an sis, while she and the nurse lady talked and I did as I was told
except.....
Eavesdrop on them . I only heard a little (the doors are think and real heavy) but I wished, I really really really wished I didn't listen to their conversation .
I backed away , looking to my left and right. " If I go to my right there will be the waiting room and loads of people coming through in and out but if I go to my left then there will be like 25ish or 30ish% an emergency stairs(wished it were elevators cause we're on the 7th floor)." I thought to myself and again arguing with clearly myself.
My heart is pounding cause I know I don't have enough time , I've just turned thirteen and I have to run and run like the wind and I mean NOW!
