Its hard when you find out that you have feelings for someone but it feels totally wrong to you. Its equally hard when that person confesses to you. How are you supposed to respond to that? Should you be happy or upset that you are about to go down a path that you know is totally wrong for you. Its totally wrong so you try to reject that person with all your might but then you start to think about him non stop. Its uncontrollable. So then you spill your heart out to a close friend that is worried about you and that friend tells the person that you love that you love him. Then your love approaches you and tries to make you admit that you love him just as much as he loves you and you can't seem to resist the happiness that is waiting in suspense on the sidelines for you to finally accept your love. Then you start to cry and your love already knows that you have accepted the mutual love that both of you have. That's a truly strange yet moving story and I can't believe that all of that happened to me.

Hey! I'm Chisaki Hiradaira and I am now happily attending nursing school everyday. My childhood friends, Hikari, Manaka, and Kaname, are still going to middle school since they did not age during their 5 year hibernation so I spend my time in my nursing school, home with grandpa, or thinking  about Tsumugu. He went back to his college in the city and I miss him dearly. I do talk to him on the phone but he always seems busy because he always hangs up after about 20 minutes of talking. I don't feel like we are a couple because of the inconsistency of our communication but I know that I must bare it. He chose to go so I intend to let him do what he wants. I remember the day that he left for the city...

~FLASHBACK~

Everyone is late. How could this happen? Doesn't anybody care? I sigh.

"Chisaki, don't worry."

"How can I not worry, Tsumugu? You're leaving today! The least that everyone could do was to come see you off today."

Tsumugu sighed as if he thought that I was being over dramatic.

"You know, Chisaki, I don't care if anybody comes to see me off or not. I just care that you are here." he said tenderly to me and then softly touched my cheek.

That made me shut up, as usual because I was overwhelmed by the warmth of his soft and gentle hands. He always calms me down just by touching me a little bit. I wish that everyone would hurry up and show up. Tsumugu would be even happier with all of his friends here.

"Kiss her already!" I heard someone say in the distance. That's when I saw them. Everyone was standing a few feet away staring at Tsumugu and I from the entrance of the little train station that leads to the city. Were they standing there the whole time? Tsumugu just pulls me into an embrace for a few seconds then he rushes onto the train that arrived and just like that he was gone. I frowned. That was no where near the romantic yet theatrical goodbye that I had imagined. Thanks a lot everyone.

~END FLASHBACK~

After that, I refused to talk to anyone for a whole week and a half until they all appeared at my house apologizing about what happened. Of course I forgave them but Tsumugu and I have not had any lovey kind of conversations since and I'm starting to think that maybe he found someone else that he prefers to be with in the city. I should probably stop thinking that because I know that he loves me. He just has a naturally apathetic attitude towards anything and everything... right? Oh gosh.

I went downstairs to get a drink and check on grandpa to get my mind off of Tsumugu. I have a big test in two days and it'd be bad if I failed it simply because I was distracted. When I got downstairs, I noticed that grandpa was on the phone.

"Okay, let me ask her-" that's when grandpa sees me coming around the corner in the hallway, "oh, she's right here."

I grab the phone from grandpa.
